Woodpeckers ALL AGES

Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Woodpeckers are found almost everywhere in the world, including Westwood. Find out which woodpeckers call Minnesota home and learn some amazing facts about these woodland birds. Put together a simple suet feeder and take a walk to search for woodpeckers and the clues they leave behind.

Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Explore and discover the world outside while on naturalist-led hikes. We’ll listen to nature stories, create crafts, play games and laugh with our famous puppets. Each class dives into a different nature topic. There are four sessions, and each session has three or four classes. Feel free to sign up for one or more sessions. Choose Monday or Tuesday, but not both during the same month.
