The 2021 St. John’s Open, our school’s annual golf scramble established by the Dads’ Club, was a much-needed reprieve from the pandemic—and a success on multiple fronts. On February 26, 2021, under sunny skies, St. John’s safely hosted 100 golfers and 13 volunteers comprised of SJE parents, alumni, grandparents, partners, and friends at the Bay Palm Golf Complex on MacDill Airforce Base. First place went to the foursome of Cohen & Grieb, P.A. All participating experienced an afternoon of camaraderie and demonstrated their support of the school by raising more than $10,000 in net proceeds to support the 2020-'21 Eagles Fund!
For the first time this year, participants had a chance to win a Maserati by making a hole-in-one. The hole-in-one opportunity was sponsored by South Tampa Auto Boutique/ The Thomason Family.
