G R A N D P A R E N T S An Exceptional Education, the Best Gift
As one of many grandparents who are active in the St. John’s community and who donate to the Eagles Fund, Glenda Barlow easily identifies what she loves about the school, and how her donations are being used to help young Eagle scholars soar to new heights.

“First, the teachers are amazing,” Glenda states enthusiastically. “During the pandemic, I was totally impressed by the dedication of teachers and staff and the efforts they made to provide a top-tier education to the students. They worked tirelessly to provide an excellent learning environment, and the school invested in the necessary technology to make that environment accessible to the students, no matter where they are. Donations are critical for this effort.”
Glenda’s daughter is Allison Campbell, parent of two St. John’s children, Ellie (3rd grade) and Mason (kindergarten), both of whom started in Pre-K.
“We were first drawn to St. John’s because of its exceptional educational advantages,” says Glenda. “The curriculum is truly extraordinary, and the technology integration will help the children succeed in our ever-changing world. I also sincerely appreciate the loving, supportive environment that helps my grandchildren thrive. I am grateful St. John’s integrates spiritual growth into their daily routine, developing strong character and helping them become better people.”
When asked what she would say to fellow grandparents and others considering a donation to the Eagles Fund, Glenda says, “This is the best gift they can give their grandchildren. Our donations support teachers and staff at St. John’s as they continue to provide the nurturing environment and exceptional educational journey the students need to learn, grow and succeed.”
Glenda adds with a smile: “St. John’s is such a gift to my grandchildren. It’s a blessing they are there, receiving the education they are, in such a loving and supportive environment. I want to do what I can for them and future generations.”
