The decision at the pony classes: also the athletes with a height below 148 cm had to compete in the demanding course with 8 obstacles. Daniel Schneiders won the team competition, which was dominated by the German drivers. The dressage winner Steffen Brauchle gave up his top position due to a few centimeters: his carriage flipped as he was exiting an obstacle in full speed. Since the rear wheels did not crossed the finish line yet, the competitor received fault points and lost his lead. Second place went to Austria, Michael Broger came in before the French competitor, Rolf Guthmann, who came in second. Two German Lady Drivers were top at the pony pairs marathon test: Birgit Kohlweiss won before Katarina Dam. Third place for Johann Weitlaner, ITA. Also the marathon decision at the pony singles was colored red-white-red: Stefan Gratz won before Susanne Leibetseder, third place for Wenche Johannsen. Off we go now to the cones and the fight against the time – the decision for the combined test is going to happen in the cones parcours. .
