Meeting Minutes Meeting was called to order with 24 members and guests present. Minutes and treasurers report were read and approved. Old Business - The club discussed the Toad Suck Car Show that took place during Toad Suck Daze. The show was very successful as there were about 200 cars registered. There were a lot of good comments concerning the trophies that we gave out. However, we may have to consider giving out more first, second and third place trophies in the future. Don is waiting for the invoice from the machine shop for the trophies. The cost will approximately be $10.00 each. We have only ordered half of them. We are saving the other half for the Pickles Gap Car Show in August. The last half will be cut soon.
may not be able to use the Regions lot by Old Chicago Pizza next year. We cannot get all the cars that come to the car show on the Bank of America lot. If we can’t use the Regions lot, we may have to evaluate holding the car show downtown. Don said we need to make a decision by the end of the summer concerning the lots and where to hold the car show. New Business -The club welcomed Paul Kirkland to our meeting. Paul is our only applicant for the scholarship. He has already been accepted by UACCM, he came in 3rd. in the state in Skills, for collision repair and has good grades. Kevin has had him in class for the last 3 years and said he well deserves the scholarship. Meeting adjourned.

From The President One down... One to go.... Car Shows that is. We have the spring show behind and the fall show at Pickles Gap ahead of us. We had some good discussion at the last meeting and I hope that everything works itself out in the coming months. As you know we had some parking issues during the TSD car show and we are working to get things worked out before we start promoting next years event. If something happens that we aren’t going to be able to secure the space needed for next years show, we will start working on a new location. I do have a few in mind, but hopefully things will work out. If this newsletter finds you before Saturday, May 14, come on out and cruise with us up to Clarksville to a free show and shine and movie. There is no cost for the show and shine, but is only open to pre ‘70 hot rods and customs. the movie is open to anyone. Be carefule out there! Happy Cruising!
