Meeting Minutes. President Don Searls called the meeting to order with 15 members and guest present. Minutes from last meeting and treasurers reports were read and approved. Old Business: The cruise night for the club during the month of August will be in Perryville on August 9 at the Sonic and in Conway on August 16 at the Sonic. The trophies are ready to be picked up for the Pickles Gap Car show that will be held on August 20. Kevin still has not gotten in touch with the young man to receive the scholarship. The tool box and all the tools are ready for him. If we don’t give the scholarship away this year, we will do it next year. New Business: The TSCC car show at Pickles Gap Village will be on August 20, 2011. Don asked the club to gather door prizes for the show. O’Rileys will provide some of the door prizes. Don passed around a paper for club members to sign up for duties needed for the car show. The duties are: volunteers to park cars, work registration, traffic control and judging. Volunteers need to be there by 6:30 am. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Don announced that the handicap areas need to be left open for visitors to the village and restaurant. Don presented car show pamphlets for future car shows during the month of August. Motion was made to adjourn. 50/50. Won by Vivian Bates Eat Out. Eat out will be at Smokehouse BBQ in Conway on August 25. Cruise Nights. Conway Sonic: August 16 ; Perryville Sonic: September 13 TSCC Car Show. August 20 is the date, Pickles Gap Village is the place!
