Dear St Hilda’s School community,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to this year’s Festival of the Arts, proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation.
This annual celebration continues to shine a spotlight on the remarkable creativity and talent within our artistic community. More than just an exhibition, the Festival is a vibrant gathering that connects us through our shared love of the Arts—a place where imagination and expression come to life.
Each year, we are inspired by the incredible works of artists from across our region, and 2025 is no exception. Their passion reminds us of the importance of nurturing creative voices and providing platforms for them to flourish.
As Chair of the Foundation, I am deeply grateful to our generous sponsors, tireless volunteers, and enthusiastic attendees. Your support is what brings this event to life and helps build a stronger, more connected arts community.
I invite you to take the time to explore the Festival, engage with the artists, and celebrate the stories behind each piece. Your presence and encouragement mean the world to those who create and contribute to this experience.
Thank you for joining us and for being a part of this vibrant celebration. Together, let’s make this year’s Festival of the Arts an unforgettable success.
Mr Luke Henderson Chair, St Hilda’s Foundation
Dear Members of our St Hilda’s School and wider Gold Coast community,
Thank you for joining us to celebrate our 2025 Festival of the Arts, proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation.
What a joy it is to walk through our Festival of the Arts gallery and be immersed in the talents of local creatives, including our own St Hilda’s girls. Around each corner, there is new inspiration to be found in the mastery and beauty of the exceptional works on display.
The Arts are an intrinsic part of a St Hilda’s School education, providing students with avenues to not only explore their creativity, but to learn more about themselves and the world around them. Art evokes in each of us a connection through shared expression and is a thread that helps us to explore the beauty of our thoughts, feelings and emotions. I am in awe of the talent on display.
I extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to our St Hilda’s Foundation, our Sponsors and to all who have made this remarkable showcase possible.
Mrs Virginia Warner Principal
The Festival of the Arts (FOTA) celebrates creativity while supporting students and community initiatives through the St Hilda’s Foundation. Showcasing student talent alongside renowned artists, it fosters artistic appreciation and strengthens community engagement.
Art and the celebration of creativity have always been a prominent feature of a St Hilda’s School education. The aesthetic of our grounds mirrors the expression of our students’ talents and enrich the experience for our learners and our wider community as we take time to study, appreciate, and inspire through the sharing of artistic talents.
Originally established in the early 1990s, the Festival of the Arts at St Hilda’s School was proudly revived in 2023 through the support of the St Hilda’s Foundation. The Festival of the Arts, celebrates creativity while supporting the impact and meaningful work of the St Hilda’s Foundation.
Held in our stunning new Granowski Auditorium, Festival of the Arts offers a vibrant platform for both emerging and established artists, to showcase their work and join a diverse collection including ceramics, student art, photography, sculpture, drawing and handmade jewellery.
Participating artists contribute directly to the St Hilda’s Foundation Scholarship Program—helping to create life-changing opportunities for young women, their families and the wider community.
Please note, all artwork listed are measured in centimetres.
