HOME AND SCHOOL NEWS

The 2021-2022 school year was another enormous success for the Saint Henry School Home & School Association thanks to the wonderful Saint Henry School parents. Fundraising efforts this year raised over $130,000! The biggest portion of this was from the return of the Tiger Town Boogie which brought in over $85,000. The Boogie was a wonderful day thanks to many helping hands, but especially thanks to Tasha and Steven Kennard who led this event again as well as the Dacus family who assisted ahead of leading the charge for this event next year. Saint Henry School students love their role in this fundraiser, and what an incredible job they did!

The Home and School Association is looking to exceed this year’s fundraising revenue and increase parent involvement in their plans for the 2022-2023 school year. Head room parents have been assigned and will be ready to hit the ground running at the beginning of the school year. New committees are being added to the fabric of the organization and will allow for more parents to be involved. In July there will be announcements regarding the Bonfire (21+ event) and Carnival (all ages) along with details as to how parents can get involved in these and other school events. After a twoyear pause, the Home and School Association is ready to bring these events back and make them better than ever. Mark all calendars! The Bonfire will take place on Friday, November 4, 2022, and the Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2022.
