Dear Saint Henry Family, Friends, and Alumni,

I hope you enjoy this beautiful edition of the Pinnacle. When I reflect on the 2021-2022 school year, I am filled with immense gratitude to God for the many blessings bestowed on our precious school. I continue to marvel at the dedication of the faculty and staff, who always seem to keep the students on “point” throughout covid challenges and societal conflicts and pressures. Now more than ever, the need for Catholic schools is paramount.

When covid-19 struck, our school, along with other Catholic and private schools, appeared to be in a threatening position due to forced remote teaching/learning and an economic downturn affecting families nationwide. Our commitment to opening safely August 2020 and our dedication to the wonderful happenings in our classrooms, school, and community served as a beacon of light to many new families.

This coming school year we will open our doors with an enrollment of over 700 students. The last time we had an enrollment this large was 14 years ago (the 2008-2009 school year). The foundation and strength of Saint Henry School is our love and commitment to our Catholic faith and community.

Your financial support, especially with tuition assistance, is paving the way for many of our children who may otherwise not have a chance to experience Catholic education. I can assure you that your financial investment in our youth is yielding a harvest at Saint Henry School.

I am proud of our students. I am proud of the beautiful young men and women that I see graduate each year. Our students can articulate their faith with intelligence and conviction. I continue to hear from the high schools that the Saint Henry students are excellently prepared with the majority testing into honors classes. Academic excellence and integrity are always at the forefront of our learning environment at Saint Henry School.

May God continue to bless you and your families. You remain in my daily prayers. Please pray for me that I will continue to lead our school for the glory of God.

Sincerely in Christ,

Sister Mary Elizabeth, O.P.
