CHARTING YOUR COURSE for 2021
With a new year comes a fresh opportunity to chart a course for active participation in the Chesapeake Region Chapter of CAI. CAI provides its members with a myriad of opportunities to learn, network and gain valuable tools that will help us do our jobs effectively and efficiently. On January 14th, the Social Committee organized our first ever kickoff event titled “Charting Your Course with the Chesapeake Region Chapter” and oh what fun we had!

Over 55 attendees logged on to Zoom to learn more about our Chapter and its committees. Yes, you may wonder how you can handle yet another Zoom meeting. Well, we thought of that when planning this event. We wondered what could make any Zoom meeting just a little bit better. The answer…mixology! Our committee chairs shared the responsibilities of their specific committees and encouraged members to get involved by joining at least one of them. With 8 active committees, CAI has something of interest for everyone. Whether you are interested in legislation, want to help create the Chapter’s educational offerings, or enjoy planning networking events, there is an opportunity for you to get involved. And if this first event of the year is any indication of how much fun we can have while we learn and grow in our careers, then you can imagine how great being an active member of this chapter will be!
