The Principal, Mr Mark Bonnici invites suitably qualified individuals to submit their application for the position of Student and Parent Reception - College Administrative Support.

The Student and Parent Reception position provides highly professional administrative and organisational support to students, families and St Edward’s College staff. A key responsibility of this position is to deliver exceptional customer service to students and their families in a welcoming, safe and inclusive manner.

The Student & Parent Reception plays an important role in providing a professional and welcoming presence whilst performing specific duties to ensure the smooth daily running of the front office and reception areas.

This is a permanent part-time position working 3 days per week, during school terms.

Professional Requirements

The position requires a person who:

• Has an affinity with and appreciation for the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice and the EREA Charter Touchstones.

• A qualification in an administration-based certificate is desirable.

• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to students and their families in a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Outstanding organisational, planning and time management skills whilst maintaining flexibility.

• The ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion and initiative.

• Excellent written, technological and interpersonal skills.

• An aptitude for learning new skills and increasing professional knowledge.

• Confidence in dealing with a range of people and changing situations in a collaborative team.

• Ability to work effectively under direction, as a member of a team and independently.

• High standards of personal presentation.

• Up to date First Aid qualification or willingness to complete.

• Holds a current Working with Children clearance number.

Commencement Arrangement

The successful applicant will commence this permanent part-time position in August 2025.
