St. Columba Campus Design - Next Steps
We are excited to report that St. Columba is continuing our work with Integration Design Group (IDG) to move ahead with design for Phase 1 of our Master Plan. As a reminder, these campus improvements will include necessary site infrastructure upgrades, a new church narthex, and fire suppression in the Hauser Building.

Our architects have already been working with us to move ahead with Durango City Planning to obtain approval for our design and plans A preapplication meeting with Durango city officials was held in February. Members of our St Columba Campus Design Team (CDT) for this scope of work are: Mike Bray, Rich Bechtolt, Kevin Chick, Deacon Chris Peterson, Donna Rheault and Father John Jatau.
The CDT has selected consultants to provide services including structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering and will continue to work with Zehren & Associates as our landscape architect. Our kickoff meeting with IDG and our consultants for this phase of design work was held on April 9. We will keep you updated as our work proceeds.
Capital Campaign Update
We are blessed to have received pledges of more than $5.2 million towards the work described above. If you have not already started, please begin fulfilling your pledges to the Living Stones Capital Campaign, as costs for the design work have already begun. If you have not yet made a pledge, please consider making one to help us meet our $6.2 million goal. Thank you for your generous response to our facility needs so that St Columba Church & School can continue our mission of making disciples in SW Colorado.

Spring Music Programs: April 24th

Please have your students wear either their school uniform or school appropriate dress clothes to the program. See you soon for a fun evening of music!

The 5-8 band and choir students have been working all semester in anticipation of their Spring Concert on Thursday, April 24th at 6:30. You will hear pop songs, musical theater, jazz, folk, and many other styles. Band students should arrive in their assigned classroom at 6:05 to warm up. Choir students and the audience are asked to arrive at 6:15. All students should wear either school uniforms or school appropriate dress clothes for the concert. Remember to consider your comfort and ease of motion for performing when you are making outfit decisions. We are looking forward to a great concert!

Lenten Almsgiving Rice Boxes
Please return your rice boxes on Wednesday, April 16th, during Mass! The boxes will take the place of offertory envelopes.
