Thank you to everyone who made our Thanksgiving feast so special!

St Columba School Fall Drive Thank You
The overwhelming generosity of St Columba School Families for the Thanksgiving Drive this year provided a total of 246 bags of items for the St Columba Food Pantry and Neighbors in Need Alliance (NINA) Housewarming Love for a total value of items for those in need of $6,600. There was a total of $306 financial donations which will be split between the Pantry and Housewarming Love. St Columba Food Pantry received $4,920 value of food and NINA Housewarming Love received $1,680 value of household items. Your gifts will be greatly appreciated by those receiving services.
Some people might not realize that our Food Pantry is totally supported by parishioners and school families. This ministry receives no funding from the Parish budget. It has always received its food items and financial support from donations. 100% support! On average the Food Pantry serves 100 families per month. Each family receives 1-2 bags of food, depending on the number of those living in the home. Each bag costs about $30.
Housewarming Love, a program provided by NINA provides needed household and hygiene items for unhoused families and individuals moving into housing. Often these individuals have only what they can carry with them. These items will be greatly appreciated and make their apartment feel like a home.
You have really made a difference in people's lives!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our St. Columba Lego Robotics Team that were 1st place champions at the regional meet on November 15 !th
Their amazing coaches, Erin Cuthbertson and Mindy Potter, shared this message about the competition, “In past years, we’ve celebrated wins in individual sections of the competition, but this year they truly excelled across every category You would have been incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. They were true team players - encouraging other teams, assisting volunteers, adapting on the fly, and having a blast the entire time. This year’s theme was archaeology, and the students fully embraced it - we rebranded our team as the Relic Raiders!”
Good luck to the team as they head to Denver for the state competion this weekend!
