Our annual Halloween celebrations are one of the favorite days of the year. You won’t want to miss it!

Please note that students should wear their uniforms to school and will change in the afternoon.
Halloween Candy Needed
We are kindly asking families to contribute a bag of individually wrapped Halloween candy for the trick or treat stations. Please deliver the candy to the office by Tuesday, October 28 . th

End of 1st Quarter
We are already less than ONE weeks away from the end of the 1 quarter!! Please remember that all preschool-8 grade students will have Friday, Oct. 24 off from school as teachers and staff will be having a workday with professional development. st th th
Have you been checking Blackbaud? This is the place to see all missing assignments, grades, and more any time, but especially as the quarter wraps up.

Veterans Mass
We will have a special Mass to honor our veterans on Wednesday, November 5 , at 8:15. Remember that there will not be school on November 11 for Preschool-8 Grade in honor of Veterans Day. If you are a veteran, please email office@stcolumbaschooldurango.org so we can add you to our list. th th th If you have a special veteran in your life, please also let the office know so we can send them a personal invitation to honor them.
Service Hours Opportunity
Please remember that there are several different ways to fulfill your family’s service hours obligation for the school year.
We are still looking for someone to earn their hours by taking home Mass worship aids on Wednesday afternoons and returning them by Friday afternooon. You can commit to one week at a time or take them on for a month or even the year.
Please let the office know if you can help with this service hours opportunity from home.
K-8 Parent/Teacher Conferences - October 23rd
Please remember that school will not be in session that day to give our teacher's a chance to meet with all families. It is an expectation that all families attend fall conferences with their student's homeroom teacher, and a time will be assigned to all of those that don't sign up.
Please review the available slots below and sign up for a time that works best for your family before October 20th. Times will be assigned for remaining families at that time.
