Thank you very much to our volunteer History Day judges!! We couldn’t do it without you!
This year’s judges were: Andrea Berghoff, Mandi Carpenter, Joy Ehlers, Maryanne Felkins, Michele Hilberth, Paul Kosnik, Per Larson, Lisa Mastny, and April Zion.

A member of our community rrecently shared the following article with Mr. Chick and he felt there was value in sharing it with our school families. The article can also be found HERE. Enjoy!

PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
All current and incoming preschool families are invited to join us. Please share the info below with any potential families that you may know that are interested in joining our St. Columba Preschool Community.

Preschool Open House

Saturday, February 22nd, 11:00-1:00 1840 E 2nd Ave
Meet the director and learn more about our program before registration opens up. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to office@stcolumbaschooldurango.org to schedule a tour.
Watch for summer 2025 and school year 2025-2026 registration to come your way in early March!
Theater Props
Thank you for all of the props that have come in to support our theater department!
We are still in need of a few items: Green plastic bottles like 7up or mountain dew of any size
Old climbing ropes in any shade of green
None of these items will make it back to you. Items can be dropped off outside the office. We hope you will come see the show on May 9th and 10th!

“High
Water” Swap
We are bursting at the seams with used uniforms and you probably have many at home you are ready to exchange plus you likely are in need of a few bigger sizes to help your students get through the end of the school year.
We are currently looking for a few volunteers to help us organize an almost spring “high water” uniform swap. This would entail helping us pick a date to hold the swap, sorting the items we have and whatever new items come in, and overseeing the day of the swap. More info to come once a date is chosen, but we are hoping to have the swap March 1113 if it works out.
Please reach out to Heidi at office@stcolumbaschooldurango.org if you would like to help. We probably only need the first 5 volunteers that reach out.

Thank You for Making Giving Day a Success!
Nearly three weeks have passed since our Day of Giving, but our gratitude is endless. For your donations, sponsorships, and helping to spread the word, we are so grateful. Thank you for being part of this incredible effort - we couldn’t have done it without you!
We’re excited to celebrate our success together. Please keep an eye out next week for the announcement of dates for classroom prizes and our school-wide lunch celebration!
