STANG Magazine October 2025 Editor's Choice

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

CAR OWNER

CAR NAME–YEAR & MODEL INFO LW AUTOMOTIVE PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

THEY ARE STANG MAGAZINE APPROVED!

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

If you live in the Pittsburgh area, there is only one car dealership you should buy your next ride from and that is LW Automotive. After months of searching for the perfect 2020 Shelby GT500, I met Lorne Farone online and we instantly became friends. Hands down, Lorne is one of the nicest guys that you will ever meet and he went above and beyond to make my car buying experience as comfortable as possible. He even went out of his way to call me directly to discuss details of the vehicles that I wanted to trade in, the history of the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, and just to get to know me a little over the phone since I would be making a “blind” trip out to Pittsburgh to potentially buy a car completely unseen other than photos and videos. We spoke for over an hour and I knew right away, I was going to the right place to get my dream car! Lorne not only is an auto enthusiast to the core, he makes it a priority that you are one hundred percent satisfied and comfortable with your purchase! LW Automotive literally has the most diverse and most exotic inventory in the state! Not only that, but they even have the ability to rent some of these dream machines just so you get to enjoy the feel of what it is like to have one for the day!

The LW Automotive staff were the absolute best! Lorne and his team made my experience absolutely perfect and I know for a fact that they put their customers first. They are STANG Magazine APPROVED!

“STITCH” XPR-626 - 2020 SHELBY GT500

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

THIS IS ONE MUSTANG THAT I CAN HONESTLY SAY I CAN NOT STOP DRIVING!

This is “Stitch” aka XPR-626 and she is a 2020 Shelby GT500 in Ford Performance Blue. I am lucky enough to be her fourth owner. She is originally from Southern Texas, moved to Los Angeles, California, moved back to Northern Texas, then moved to New York City area (Jersey side), and now resides in beautiful south central Pennsylvania.

She has seen a lot of the country and now that she is in my garage, the world will see a lot of her! Hands down, this is the ultimate Mustang and just like Carroll Shelby preached, this car was meant to be driven so I am definitely enjoying the hell out of all of it, not just looking at it when it is clean! And YES, there is definitely a point at 7,000 RPM where everything fades. The machine does become weightless, just disappears, and all that is left is a body moving through space and time!

TriPro mirror dash cam to capture all of her adventures.

She is my third Mustang and by far the best. This is one Mustang that I can honestly say I can NOT stop driving! The only draw back... there is never enough gas to keep her on the road for long. She empties quick and so does my wallet to fill her back up!
