INSPIRE EDUCATION GROUP CELEBRATES STELLAR RESULTS DAY WITH OVER 478 STUDENTS PROGRESSING TO UNIVERSITY
Inspire Education Group celebrated fantastic results, with 478 students from Stamford and Peterborough Colleges progressing to university study this autumn, following exceptional A Level and Diploma results.
Phenomenally, 1 in 2 students at Inspire Education Group (IEG) are celebrating high grades of A* to B in A Levels and D*D*D* to DDM equivalent in Diploma equivalent qualifications.
Angela O’Reilly, Vice Principal of Curriculum and Quality, was full of praise, sharing, “The outstanding results not only showcase the dedication and hard work of the students, but also affirm IEG’s mission to empower

CELEBRATING SUCCESS AS 83% OF GRADUATES ACHIEVE 2:1 OR ABOVE AT UNIVERSITY CENTRE PETERBOROUGH
University Centre Peterborough celebrated an impressive 83% of students achieving a 2:1 degree classification or higher this year.
The recent results highlight University Centre Peterborough’s successful efforts in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, marking a 3% increase on last year’s classifications. This has enabled students to surpass their academic goals and demonstrate strong capabilities, enhancing their attractiveness to potential employers. The university’s emphasis on a well-rounded education, innovative teaching methods, and comprehensive student support has been pivotal to this success.

GCSE RESULTS DAY 2024: INSPIRE EDUCATION GROUP OUTPERFORMS NATIONAL BENCHMARKS IN ENGLISH AND MATHS
Students at Stamford College and Peterborough College recently celebrated fantastic GCSE English and maths results. The hard work and determination of hundreds of students across both campuses have paid off, with many achieving the grades they need to take their next steps in education or their careers.
In the 2023/24 academic year, 30.3% of learners at IEG achieved a Grade 4 or higher, significantly surpassing the national average in England, which stood at 20.9%. This achievement is even more impressive when considering only Further Education (FE) establishments, where the national figure drops to 17.9%.
INSPIRE EDUCATION GROUP CELEBRATE SUCCESS AT PETERBOROUGH TELEGRAPH APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS 2024
Inspire Education Group (IEG), representing Peterborough College and Stamford College, proudly celebrated exceptional achievements at the 2024 Peterborough Telegraph Apprenticeship Awards. As the Headline Sponsor, IEG champions the vital role Apprenticeships play in shaping the future workforce.
With 22 finalists from the IEG community attending the awards, the night was a resounding success, and IEG were delighted that four of our nominees won awards on the night. These included Harry Alderman from Peterborough College, awarded Engineering/Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year, and our partners, EML Contractors, who also won SME Employer of the Year.
Further accolades went to Olivia Joachim from Star Days Nurseries Ltd for Intermediate Apprentice of the Year, and Darius Warren from Baker Perkins for Mentor of the Year.
The high performance of IEG students is particularly notable given the demographics of Peterborough, highlighting the exceptional outcomes of these learners. Overall, 275 students at IEG secured high grades, an increase of 65 from the previous year, excluding those who joined classes mid-year after being classified as ‘exempt.’

STAMFORD COLLEGE RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION GREEN APPLE ENVIRONMENT AWARD
Stamford College’s Modern Methods of Construction Centre (MMC), which provides state-of-the-art learning and teaching resources for students studying plumbing, carpentry, brickwork and electrical installation, has won an International Building and Construction Green Apple Environment Award, following a prestigious ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The Inspire Education Group (IEG) £3.3m facility, co-funded by the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP) and the Department for Education, was recognised for its focus on automation, carbon reduction, and prefabrication, reflecting modern construction trends.
UNIVERSITY CENTRE PETERBOROUGH CELEBRATE GRADUATION CEREMONY AT PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL
University Centre Peterborough held its annual graduation ceremony at the historic Peterborough Cathedral. Over 200 students from a wide range of degree subjects, including Business Management, Digital Marketing, Counselling, History and Archaeology, received their degrees.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone for these students who have worked hard to achieve their academic goals. Many of the graduates have already found jobs in their chosen fields, while others are gaining experience or continuing their education with a Master’s degree. Rebecca Abbott, who graduated with a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Digital Marketing and Communications, said ‘it was a perfect way to honour our hard work and the incredible journey we’ve shared at the University Centre.’

FRESH NEW LOOK FOR PARCS NURSERY AT FAMILY FUN DAY EVENT
In September, Parcs Nursery celebrated the successful launch of its new brand identity with a well-attended Family Fun Day at the Peterborough College Campus.
The Family Fun Day attracted a large number of families from the local community, all eager to explore the newly rebranded Parcs Nursery. This event also attracted the attention of aspiring graduates from neighbouring University Centre Peterborough looking for convenient and high-quality childcare close to their studies.
The rebrand and subsequent event highlights Parcs Nursery’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional childcare and education. By aligning its visual identity with its core values, the nursery aims to continue being a trusted partner for families in the Peterborough area.
