Your gifts of time, talent, and resources continue to enrich the St. Martin’s experience. It is your unwavering commitment that fuels our pursuit of academic excellence and sustains the nurturing, faith-centered environment that sets our school apart.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a community of devoted teachers, staff, and parents who work hand in hand to create a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore, learn, and grow. Thank you for placing your trust in St. Martin’s and for investing in an environment that educates the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—in a loving, Christian atmosphere that fosters lifelong learning.
We are especially grateful to our Parent Teacher Organization and the many volunteers whose tireless efforts uplift every corner of our school. The impact of your countless hours of service is reflected throughout this report, and we are profoundly thankful for your dedication.

VOLUNTEERS LEADERSHIP
ST. MARTIN’S FUND VOLUNTEERS
During the 2024–2025 school year, an incredible team of 67 dedicated volunteers helped raise over $662,000 through The St. Martin’s Fund. These passionate individuals played a vital role in encouraging parent participation and fostering a strong culture of giving within our community. STRATEGIC PLANNING
THE IMPORTANCE OF ALIGNMENT
Strategic planning is more than just a roadmap for the future: it is an essential framework that thoughtfully aligns our vision, goals and resources with the views of our entire community before embarking on programming changes or a larger fundraising project. By pausing to reflect on where we have been and where we are going, we ensure that our programs, operations and initiatives align with our mission. Thanks to our four-phase approach, we will focus on three core priorities.

THREE CORE PRIORITIES

Service Learning: Building a stronger community through expanded service and engagement
OUR GOAL: Strengthen the integration of service learning into the curriculum and school culture to enhance student leadership and promote a unified message of service within the St. Martin’s community.
Elevate the Preschool-8th grade Educational Model: Leveraging our educational model to build a foundation for future success for every student
OUR GOAL: Leverage the unique advantages of the Preschool-8th grade model to provide a seamless and personalized learning experience for every student.

Facility Enhancements: Enhancing our campus to better serve our students and families
OUR GOAL: Improve and expand access to recreational and enrichment spaces to support student learning and development.
This plan reaffirms our commitment to providing an exceptional education and a vibrant, inclusive environment for all students. Thank you to our families, faculty, and supporters for helping us bring this vision to life. Together, we aim to create an even more dynamic learning environment to inspire our students for future generations. Together, we will ensure that St. Martin’s continues to be a place of exceptional education, strong values and enduring impact.

DONOR SPOTLIGHT
MEET THE DAVIS FAMILY
Our family gives to the St. Martin’s Fund because it directly and positively impacts our children and their school community. The impact is displayed through furthering of professional development in our teachers, improving the teacher to student ratio, providing innovative curriculum advancement, and offering state-of-the-art tools for our children. Most importantly, perhaps, these financial gifts allow for the continued investment in SMES safety initiatives, something we are grateful to have the opportunity to support.
Over the past three years at SMES, we have immersed ourselves in the unique SMES culture. We enrolled our oldest in Kairos after 1st grade and the impact that the Kairos program has had on her academic development and confidence is something for which we are so very grateful. Whether it be class volunteer opportunities, Chapel attendance, or
community events, we have enjoyed watching our children thrive at SMES. In addition to our children’s growth, we too have grown as parents as we discovered the amazing parent community at St. Martin’s.
ANY OPPORTUNITY TO BE AROUND THE POSITIVE ENERGY AND THE CONTAGIOUS EXCITEMENT OF UNTAINTED LITTLE HUMANS AS THEY DISCOVER THE WORLD IS AWESOME!”
Without The St. Martin’s Fund, the continued investment in our children and school community would not be possible.

The St. Martin’s Fund is a powerful catalyst for positive change, providing vital resources that directly impact our students’ everyday experiences. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us enrich the educational journey of each child, allowing them to grow, learn, and thrive. Each year, we invite every family to participate in this collective mission. By supporting the St. Martin’s Fund, you are helping to shape the future of our students, empowering them to dream big and accomplish even bigger.

STUDENT & FACULTY SUPPORT
LEADERSHIP CIRCLE DONORS
The St. Martin’s Fund relies on the participation of all, but did you know that on average 80% of the funds raised are given by 20% of the donors? Leadership Circle gifts (gifts of $2,500+) establish a strong foundation for the school. The following donors made St. Martin’s Episcopal School their highest philanthropic priority last year. HEAD OF SCHOOL RECEPTION

On October 17, 2024, members of the St. Martin’s community gathered at Peachtree Golf Club for a meaningful evening of gratitude and connection. The annual Head of School Reception honors our most generous and steadfast supporters—those whose giving spirit fuels the heart of our mission and touches every corner of campus life.
It was a night filled with warmth, appreciation, and celebration of the incredible impact our donors make each day. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of those who give $2,500 or more annually and are proud to recognize them as Leadership Circle donors.
We look forward to coming together again on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Peachtree Golf Club to celebrate the continued commitment and love our community shows for St. Martin’s.

GRANDPARENTS HONOR ROLL
Grandparents are the heart of our St. Martin’s community. Their love, wisdom, and presence leave a lasting impact on our students and strengthen the spirit of connection that makes St. Martin’s so special. The bond between generations nurtures our students in unique and powerful ways, reminding them that they are part of something greater—something rooted in love, legacy, and support.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the grandparents listed below, whose generous gifts during the 2024–2025 academic year touched the lives of every student at St. Martin’s Episcopal School.

THE STRENGTH OF ANY GREAT SCHOOL LIES IN THE LEGACY OF THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE—INDIVIDUALS WHO GAVE GENEROUSLY SO THAT OUR CHILDREN COULD LEARN, GROW, AND THRIVE. NOW, IT’S OUR TURN TO GIVE BACK, TO INVEST IN ST. MARTIN’S PRECIOUS CHILDREN, AND TO LEAVE BEHIND SOMETHING LASTING FOR THE GENERATIONS YET TO COME. THE 1959 SOCIETY IS AN EASY, BUT VERY IMPACTFUL WAY OF DOING THAT.”
Chris Hubbard

Chris and Julia Hubbard have been part of the St. Martin’s community since 2011. Chris is a former St. Martin’s Fund Chair, Cabinet Campaign member, and Trustee, as well as the parent of two alumni and a current 8th grader, Morgan.
1959 SOCIETY
The 1959 Society honors those who have chosen to leave a lasting legacy at St. Martin’s Episcopal School through a planned gift.
These meaningful contributions—including bequests, retirement plan assets, charitable trusts, gift annuities, and life insurance—reflect a deep commitment to the future of our school. Members of the 1959 Society ensure that St. Martin’s continues to thrive for generations to come, providing enduring support for our mission and students.

MATCHING GIFT COMPANIES
Thank you to the employees who amplified their generosity by using their company’s matching gift program!
Many companies offer matching gift benefits that can double or even triple your support of The St. Martin’s Fund—an incredible way to increase your impact without giving more.
Curious if your employer participates? Visit our website and search our database of matching gift companies to find out.
DID YOU KNOW?
Employer matching gifts are counted toward your giving level. For example, if your employer matches your $1,250 gift one to one, your contribution would be considered a Leadership Circle gift of $2,500. Check with your employer today to see if they offer matching gifts or visit the St. Martin’s website to see a list of matching gift companies.

MEET THE FREEMAN FAMILY
We wanted to share why our family chooses to give to St. Martin’s Episcopal School and how we strive to make the most of that by giving to support a place that means so much to our children and to us.

ADP, where Ashley works, offers a 150% match on Giving Tuesday—an incredible way to increase the power of a gift.
We give because we see the impact every single day in the dedication of the teachers, the thoughtful and enriching learning environment, the meaningful friendships, and the spiritual foundation that guides our children’s growth. We are deeply grateful, and giving is one way we express that gratitude and help ensure these experiences continue for all families.
By taking full advantage of these programs, our support for the school stretches even further. We encourage other families to explore whether their employers offer similar matching opportunities. These programs don’t just increase the dollar amount; they multiply the love, care, and future that St. Martin’s can offer.

GEORGIA GOAL
Financial aid has played a crucial role in the growth and success of SMES! Since 2008, the state of Georgia has given us a powerful opportunity: allowing taxpayers to redirect their state income tax liability to a qualified student scholarship program that provides need-based financial aid. Thanks to Georgia GOAL, SMES has been able to support students as they transition from public schools into our independent school community.
Your contributions are making a real impact, transforming the lives of families in our community. You’re helping to strengthen our school in powerful ways—fueling growth in enrollment, boosting financial health, and enabling us to enhance and expand our educational offerings.
The list of Georgia GOAL participants for the 2025 tax year is below. Together, we are shaping the future of our school, one scholarship at a time! Thank you for being such an integral part of this journey.

23RD ANNUAL ST. MARTIN’S
GOLF TOURNAMENT

This spring, St. Martin’s hosted its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at the prestigious Peachtree Golf Club. Under sunny skies and ideal conditions, golfers of all skill levels came together for a day of friendly competition and shared purpose—to support the endowment fund.
Since its inception in 2002, the tournament has raised over $1.1 million for the School’s endowment fund, which now exceeds $6 million. This year’s event continued that tradition, providing critical resources that help ensure financial sustainability for generations to come.

ST. MARTIN’S
PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION
The PTO at St. Martins continues to be one of the greatest parts of our school. This is only possible because of the generous contributions, both time and resources, of our community. All of our favorite events and programs depend on the support of our many volunteers. We have had some big shoes to fill this year, as previous PTO leadership was nothing short of outstanding, but we were ready to take on the task!

The St. Martins PTO works to build a strong connection within our community through service to our staff, school-wide family events and fundraising. Events such as Fall Festival, Cornhole & Chili tournament, and Daughter’s dance work to bring us together as a community; where we can spend time fostering relationships and forming new ones. Committees such as Warrior Wings, Hospitality and Teacher Appreciation are ways that we let our teachers and staff know that we are here to support them all throughout the year. We also have programs such as Warrior Connect to bring in new St. Martin’s families and let them know we are a welcoming and supportive place to be. We made some updates to previous events, such as the new Warrior Reindeer Run and Son’s event at the Hawks to bring a new spark to some old favorites. The PTO also does some fundraising, such as the Book Fair and our largest event of the year, Saddle Up Social! A night to boot, scoot and boogie while fostering a sense of SMES community and raising some money for our school!
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our St. Martin’s community. So a big thank you to:
• The hundreds of PTO volunteers – parents, teachers & students – who gave of their time, talents and resources this year. We could not have this amazing organization without every single one of you!
• The 235 families who donated to the Teacher Fund, which gave every teacher and staff member a cash gift at Christmas and the end of the school year!
• All of our Saddle Up Social attendees, sponsors, co-chairs and volunteers! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the night when most of our SMES families come together to celebrate this special school!
• Every family who purchased a ticket to one of our events, shopped at our Book Fair, was a PTO event sponsor, bought a beloved SMES Nike hoodie – as this is what allows us to continue the community building events year after year.
• Our incredible PTO Executive Board and all of the many committee chairs and members. You all are what make this part of our school the amazing gift that it is! We are honored to have served alongside every single one of you this year!
Thank you for trusting us with the opportunity to lead this phenomenal organization over the past year. There have been challenges and victories, but none of it is possible without the continued tradition of generous support from all of the St. Martin’s community!

PTO GIFTS TO THE SCHOOL
Throughout the 2024–2025 school year, the PTO hosted a full lineup of events that brought our community together—Fall Festival, Dad’s Chili Cookoff & Cornhole, Warrior Run, Daughter’s Dance, Son’s Event, and more. These events were designed to be revenue-neutral, with ticket prices simply covering costs so everyone could participate and enjoy.
The one major fundraising event of the year was the Winter Social at SweetWater Brewery. Thanks to generous sponsors and strong attendance, this festive night of food, drinks, and entertainment helped raise funds that directly supported the PTO’s mission.
With additional proceeds from the Fall Book Fair and parent dues from tuition, the PTO funded student programs like Warrior Buddies, Field Day, and Middle School Graduation, and brought seasonal cheer through Cookies & Carols and holiday decorations. They showed appreciation for teachers with meals, gifts, and support throughout the year, and administered the Teacher’s Fund, distributing 100% of parent donations as holiday and year-end gifts.
Thanks to the community’s support, they ended the year with a surplus and were proud to donate $30,000 toward field improvements—an investment in the future of our school and the students we serve.

SADDLE UP SOCIAL
The SMES community “saddled up” at SweetWater Brewery and danced the night away to 90s country band, Neon Moon. The biannual social event brought together over 360 parents, guests, faculty, and staff for a night full of community and celebration. The event truly highlighted our special community and brought everyone together for a little fun and “boot scootin!”
This fun and festive night would not have been possible without the dedication and efforts of our co-chairs, Kaitlin Hammill and Lauren Wilson, and countless volunteers. Thank you, Lauren and Kaitlin, for all of your efforts in planning Saddle Up Social and making it such a successful event and entertaining night for all! Thank you also to our sponsors!
