It’s a place where childhood is protected, leadership is cultivated and the foundation for lifelong learning is strong and lasting.

Thank you for your interest in St. Martin’s. We are a joyful, faithrooted community where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. I invite you to visit and experience firsthand the warmth and purpose that shape daily life here. You’ll find a place where children are known, encouraged, and inspired to grow.

Experience Preschool Through 8th

We believe our model allows students to grow and shine in a safe, supportive environment. The intentional design lets us focus exclusively on the educational and social-emotional needs of students across all grade levels—creating an optimal setting for both academic and personal growth.

A Nurturing, Age-Appropriate Environment

Our preschool–8th model creates a learning environment tailored to students’ developmental needs—helping them thrive academically and socially.

A Personalized Approach to Learning

Lower teacher-student ratios and close-knit teacher relationships ensure each child is known, valued and supported—empowering them to reach their full potential.

A Foundation of Stability

Staying in one school community from Early Childhood through Middle School offers consistency during the most formative years—building confidence and a strong sense of belonging.

A Seamless Educational Journey

Our carefully aligned curriculum supports smooth transitions between grades—promoting deep understanding and steady academic growth without the disruption of changing schools.

A Strong, Supportive Community

Lifelong friendships and meaningful relationships flourish in our inclusive, familyoriented community—where students, parents and educators work together in partnership.

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.”

SERVICE LEARNING

Service to others is a core tenet at St. Martin’s, and students experience service throughout their educational experience at SMES through grade-level service projects and more.

EPISCOPAL IDENTITY

Nurturing Faith

Spiritual formation is woven into all aspects of the St. Martin’s experience.

At St. Martin’s, we believe God is present in every person, and we nurture that belief through respect, compassion and thoughtful reflection. As an Episcopal school, faith is an integral part of daily life—woven into our weekly chapel services, community service work and the way we care for one another. We welcome students of all faiths and traditions, creating space for spiritual growth, empathy and a strong sense of shared values. From the earliest years, students are encouraged to explore big questions, consider their place in the world and grow into caring, grounded members of their communities.

St. Martin’s cultivates an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions...and feel confident about what’s next!”

GENIUS BRING YOUR

GROUNDED IN KNOWLEDGE AND DISCOVERY

Strong Academic Foundation

ASt. Martin’s education is grounded in age-appropriate transitions, allowing students to fully experience each educational and developmental phase.

Early Childhood: Learning Through Discovery

In Early Childhood, students learn by exploring, playing and discovering the world around them. Daily hands-on activities nurture early literacy and math skills, coupled with active learning in the Science Lab, Art Room, Tinker Space and Outdoor Classroom. Students are also introduced to technology, music, movement, guidance, foreign language and religion to engage the whole child.

Lower School: Growing Independence

Lower School offers a vibrant community that balances structure with high academic expectations. Grounded in inquiry-based learning, students move from guided support to more self-directed work—developing independence, time management, creativity, resiliency, ethics and teamwork. A thoughtful blend of core academics and co-curriculars stretches their understanding of the world.

Middle School: Navigating Change

As middle school students navigate the exciting and complex stage of early adolescence, they discover their strengths and passions. Students are challenged with academic rigor and supported in their physical, artistic, spiritual and socialemotional growth. Dedicated teachers foster resilience and nurture collaboration in an inclusive environment. The middle school years are transformative, cultivating leaders who are prepared to guide others with kindness and empathy in an interconnected world.

BRILLIANCE BRING YOUR

BRILLIANCE

LEADERSHIP BEGINS EARLY AND GROWS WITH PURPOSE

Beyond the Classroom

Impactful growth begins with mindset, voice and purpose—and it begins early. Whether proposing a service project, leading a warm-up in P.E. or participating in Chapel, students are given authentic ways to lead that match their stage of growth. Through drama, music, visual art, athletics, intramurals and service learning, they develop confidence, empathy and a sense of responsibility to others. Growth happens when students learn to collaborate and make meaningful contributions within a community.

BUILD THROUGH INQUIRY

Our Innovation & Design and experiential learning curriculum deepens these habits by inviting students to question, create and problem-solve with intention. From Early Childhood through Middle School, students take part in handson, minds-on learning—exploring real-world challenges, testing ideas and building solutions. With each iteration, they grow more resilient, curious and collaborative. In this process, leadership evolves naturally—not rushed, but cultivated through experience, reflection and purpose.

As our 8th-grader moves into high school, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the personal growth and self-knowledge St. Martin’s has nurtured in her.”

OPPORTUNITIES

Ready For What’s Next

At St. Martin’s, preschool through 8th grade is more than just school— it’s a journey of growth, discovery and preparation for what’s next! Through engaging academics, extracurricular opportunities and spiritual development, students emerge ready to step confidently into high school and beyond.

By 8th grade, students are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and selfawareness to be active participants and decision-makers in choosing the high school path that fits them best. Families meet one-on-one with the High School Placement Director to discuss options, receive personalized recommendations and navigate the high school application process with support.

St. Martin’s graduates are accepted to top Atlanta independent high schools, competitive magnet and IB programs, selective boarding schools, and various area public high schools, with most 8th graders receiving multiple offers of admission—clear proof that they leave well-prepared and in demand.
