DAY CAMPS • SPECIALTY CAMPS • AFTER CAMP in each camp fee. Cancellation of camp must be made no later than one week prior to the start of the camp to receive a 100 percent refund (minus the registration fee). Refunds are not available for cancellations made during the week of camp or the week prior to camp.

ABOUT CAMP St. Martin’s offers a wide variety of camp options each week. Our goal is to provide quality instruction and exciting offerings in a fun environment. Each week, campers will delve into a subject to learn, create, experiment and explore.

We offer camps ranging from computer skills, engineering and science to drama, sports, dance and more. Most camps are led by highly-trained, professional St. Martin’s teachers.

COVID-19

CARPOOL

Camp will follow the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for COVID-19 safety protocols. The safety of our campers, their families and our camp staff is our top priority, and we look forward to providing a variety of exciting summer program offerings in a safe and welcoming environment.

Dismissal times for camps differ per camp. Times can be 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. or possibly 4 p.m. (depending on your registration that week). If pick-up is designated at any other time, please park and walk inside to the front desk to check out your child.

CAMP HOURS

Campers should wear tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, and sunblock.

Morning drop off is available at 8:30 a.m.

Camp is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHAT TO WEAR

LUNCH & SNACKS The camp provides snacks, and if you are staying past 12 pm, lunch is provided as well as an afternoon snack.

FEES/CANCELLATION

Check the Camp Schedule on pages 4-5 to find what works best for you and your family.

Parents must complete a separate online registration for each child. Camp fees vary per week depending on the activity. All fees must be paid at the time of registration. A $50 nonrefundable registration fee is included

All registrations must be made online.

You can find the online registration on the Summer Camp tab under Campus Life on the main St. Martin’s Episcopal School webpage. Visit https://www. stmartinschool.org/page/campus-life/ summerholiday-camps. Registration is available until the Thursday night prior to the start of camp.

AFTER CAMP After Camp is primarily for working parents who need a bit more camp until their day ends. This camp is structured similarly to after-school Explorers and Enrichment classes. The campers will have organized activities and stations such as arts and crafts, building with Legos, chess, kickball and much more. These camps run each week for campers of all ages.

Cheer Mania teaches students various skills to lead the crowd and support their team. Each cheerleader will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements and jumping techniques with a big focus on fun. There will be a choreographed performance and help from current cheerleaders from around metro Atlanta. Campers will receive cheer paraphernalia!

Grab your lab coats and goggles and join Mrs. Beckwith for her popular camp where children explore chemistry through unique hands-on experiments that they take home every day! Campers will create fizzy potions, colorful slimes, glow-in-thedark lava lamps, and fluffy science snow. They will build and erupt giant volcanoes, construct tornado tubes, send messages in invisible ink, grow colorful science crystals, and experiment with self-inflating balloons! What a fantastic and fun learning experience for budding scientists!

Spark your child’s interest in the fascinating world of science! There is so much to discover in the Early Childhood STEAM Village. Campers will spend the afternoon discovering new interests in the Science lab, Tinker lab, and Outdoor Classroom through child-led exploration and discovery centers. In addition to daily classes in jazz, hip hop and ballet, campers will enjoy arts and crafts and outdoor games. Instructors will place students into groups so beginners can have a great introduction to dance, and those with more experience can enhance their dance technique. This fun-filled camp will conclude with a showing of the choreography learned.

Go behind the scenes of the Early Childhood Science Lab’s Critter Corner, where campers will feed and hold insects, frogs, and lizards! We will push up our sleeves, explore touch tanks, and pick lettuce from the garden to feed Turbo the Tortoise and Elsa the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Daily visits to the Outdoor Classroom will include nature time, tinkering with the water cistern, making mud pies, scavenger hunts, solar balloons, giant geyser eruptions, and digging in the dino-dig!

Camp will be a great time for campers to learn the foundation of the game with an emphasis on the fundamentals: throwing, catching, running, in-field and out-field play and hitting.

CREATE. SCRIPT. SHOOT. MOVIE! Heidi & Jeff McKerley $395 (Includes lunch) Rising 3rd - 8th Grade Camp Hours - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Number of campers - min 5, max 24 Atlanta has become the Hollywood of the south, so learn what it takes to be a part of the ACTION! This camp is devoted to creating and producing short film projects from beginning to end. Through storyboarding, screenwriting, filming, producing, and editing, our young film artists will get hands-on video and filmmaking experience in this inventive, fun-filled camp taught by film/TV/commercial teaching artists Heidi and Jeff McKerley. A video will be created to highlight all camp projects and emailed within three weeks from the final day of camp.

INVENTORS WORKSHOP ENGINEERING CAMP! Lauren Sims $375 (Includes lunch) Rising 4th - 5th Grade Camp Hours - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Number of campers - min 10, max 15 Students will be inspired to build on their innate desire for answers by exploring engineering concepts in a fun, hands-on way. From rockets and sailboats to chemically-crafted concoctions and more, young engineers will discover why and how things happen. The Early Childhood Science Lab will turn into a slime factory for a week of hands-on slime experiments where campers will explore properties of chemistry through mixing and mashing different liquids and activators to create unique slimes.

Campers will customize their creations by mixing colors, scents, and additives like foam beads, snow, clay, shaving cream, glitters, and more! Slimeologists will make over 15 different types of slimes, including fluffy cloud slime, giant rainbow floam, fizzy bubbly slime, and glow-in-the-dark alien slime! Each camper will take home their slimy creations in slime jars for at-home exploration.

Jr Tinkerers will put on their tool belts and hard hats to create wooden structures, build styrofoam robots and race cars, and deconstruct old electronics! Daily tinkering will include magnetic structures, lego challenges, and learning how to use hammers and screwdrivers in a safe environment built for the youngest of scientists!!

The camp will focus on developing proper fundamentals of putting, chipping and full-swings while learning rules and etiquette.

Our coding programs will teach students important strategies to enhance their logic and problemsolving skills and help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow. Our programs offer a skill-level progression of coding concepts as students advance through multiple levels from beginner through advanced. Students will build models with LEGO® Mindstorm EV3 elements, then control their models with the codes they write.
