* HYMN Great Is Thy Faithfulness | No. 140

* RESPONSIVE LITANY Rev. Regina Proctor Leader: God, today we acknowledge that faith is a call to journey with you. But we confess that at times the road ahead seems long and difficult. All: Nevertheless, we strive towards the destination. Leader: We are encouraged and challenged that this journey is not one that we can take by ourselves. Yet, you call us to share the road with people from all walks of life. All: Nevertheless, we strive towards the destination. Leader: This journey may be filled with detours and obstacles. There will be moments when this will not go as planned. All: Nevertheless, we strive towards the destination. Leader: Give us wisdom to know when it’s time to rest and when our bodies and souls need to be refueled. All: Nevertheless, we strive towards the destination. Leader: Free us from the need to idolize the destination and help us remember to enjoy every stage of this journey. Because it is here that we find you. It is here that we find joy. All: Lord, help us to enjoy the ride.
