FromMondaytoThursday,wededicate45minutestodedicatedhomework&Quiet Time,ensuringabalancebetweenfunandproductivestudysessions.Ourstaffwill assistyourchildwithhomeworkquestionsduringthistime.However,duetothe staff-to-studentratio,one-on-onetimemaybelimited.Ifadditionalhomeworktime isneeded,childrenarewelcometocontinueworkingontheirassignmentsatany pointwhilesignedintotheMRP.
FIELDTRIPS
Discovernewplacesandexperienceswithouradventurousoutings,offeredatan additionalcost.Onsomeminimumdays,wemayprovideoptionalfieldtrips,which arescheduledandpostedinadvance.Spaceislimitedbyourvancapacityandwill beatanadditionalcost.Sign-upsforfieldtripswillbedonethroughtheprogram director..Regulardailyactivitieswillcontinueifyourchildisnotattendingthefield trip.Pleasenotethatrecentbehavioralissuesandbehaviorreportsmayresultinthe denialoffieldtripprivileges.
SNACKSANDLUNCHES
SRSRCdoesnotprovidesnacksorlunches.Parentsmaysendsnackswiththeir childorpurchasethematthefrontoffice.Onminimumdays,parentsmustprovide anutritious,non-perishablelunchwithnecessaryutensils,asthecenterwillnot refrigerateorheatfood.Ifachilddoesnotbringlunch,aLunchableandsnackwill beprovidedforanadditional$10fee.
ITEMSFROMHOME
Toysandvaluablesshouldnotbebroughttotheprogram,butcellphonesmaybe usedduringdesignatedtimes.Ifweseetoysorvaluablesoutsideofachild’s backpack,orifcellphonesareuseddisruptively,wewillaskforthemtobeputaway. Toysresemblingweaponsareprohibited.Itemsincludingweapons,alcohol,and drugs,arestrictlyforbiddenandwillleadtoimmediateremoval.Lostandfoundbins arelocatedthroughouttheproperty,andarecleanedoutperiodically.Unclaimed itemsmaybedonated.MRPisnotresponsibleforlost,damaged,orstolenitems. Ourexperiencedandbackground-checkedstaff,manywitheducational backgroundsinchilddevelopment,physicaleducation,recreation,psychology,or relatedfields,haveexperienceincampsorchildcare.Ourstaffarededicatedto providingasafeandenrichingenvironment.Staffmembersdrivingpassengervans holdvaliddriver’slicenseswithcleandrivingrecords.
TheMRPisanon-licensedprogramwherechildrencanfreelychoosefromvarious activitiesandsignthemselvesinandout.Staffmeetstudentsattheirschool,sign themin,andeithershuttlethemtoourAviaryfacilitybyvanorwalkwithcounselors. Staffaredistributedthroughoutthefacilitytofacilitateactivities.
HIRINGSTAFFTOBABYSIT
Onoccasion,parentsmightaskthestafftobabysit.ScrippsRanchSwim&Racquet ClubdoesnotauthorizeortakeresponsibilityforanyservicesthatScrippsRanch Swim&RacquetClubemployeesmightprovideoutsideofScrippsRanchSwim& RacquetClubemployment.

Theprogram'scurriculumisdesignedtoprovideyourchildwithawidevarietyof activitiesandexperiencestoenablethemtogrowandlearn.Atentativedaily scheduleofactivitiesispostedintheBigRoomatAviary,ineachclassroom,andin thelobbyattheChildren’sCenter.Thefollowingareexamplesofwhatthe before/afterschoolprogramdaysmaylooklikeatbothlocations.
OUTDOORACTIVITIESANDFACILITYUSAGE
Facilityusageandactivitieswillbeconductedweatherpermitting.Ourstaffwill continuouslymonitorweatherconditionstoensurethesafetyandappropriateness offacilityusage.Intheeventofadverseweather,wemaymodifyorreschedule activitiestoprioritizethewell-beingofparticipants.
SWIM,TENNIS,ANDOTHERLESSONS
Ifyourchildisenrolledintennis,swim,oranyotherlessonsthattheClubmay provide,pleaseletusknow.Yourchildmaysignhimself/herselfouttoattendhis/her lesson.Programstaffarenotresponsiblefordeliveringprogramparticipantstotheir lessons.

Pleasehaveyourchildwearcomfortableclothingandtennisshoesdailysothey canparticipateinallactivitiessafely.
SWIMMING

ADMISSIONFORMS

TUITIONPOLICY
Monthlytuitionbillswillbeissuedforyourchildandareduebythe20thofeach month.Thebilledamountisdeterminedbytheschoolscheduleoptionyouhave selectedforyourchild(ren).Alatefeeof$15.00willbeappliedforpaymentsmade afterthe20th.Pleasenotethattuitionisnotproratedformisseddaysorabsences
NON-MEMBERCREDITCARDCHARGEAUTHORIZATION
Non-membersmustcompleteaRecurringCreditCardPaymentAuthorizationform tofinalizetheirregistration.Themonthlyaccountbalancewillbeautomatically deductedbetweenthe5thand8thofeachmonth.Atthetimeofenrollment,the providedcreditcardinformationwillalsobeusedtocollecttheannual,nonrefundableregistrationfee.Registrationisconsideredincompleteuntilboththe authorizationformandthefeearesubmitted.Anon-memberaccountwillbesetup exclusivelyforsendingprogram-relatedinvoices.Pleasenote,thisaccountdoesnot grantmembershipprivilegesatSRSRC.
PAYMENTANDACCOUNTPOLICIES
Ifacheckfortuition,yearlyregistration,fieldtrips,orrelatedprogramfeesis returnedduetoinsufficientfunds,allassociatedbankchargesanda$15.00feewill beaddedtoyouraccount.
Forpast-dueaccounts,includingonlineregistrationsforotherSRSRCprograms,a writtennotificationrequiringpaymentwithin14calendardayswillbesent.Accounts thatremainunpaidmayresultindelayedenrollment,suspension,ordismissalfrom theprogram.Membersusingserviceswhilecarryingdelinquentmembershipfees mayalsofaceprogramtermination.SRSRCreservestherighttodiscontinue servicesatanytimeforunpaidaccounts.Additionally,allaccountinformationmay beusedforcollectionactivitiesasnecessary.
PROGRAMWITHDRAWAL
Ifyouwouldliketodiscontinueenrollmentintheprogram,a30-daywrittennoticeis required.
SCHEDULECHANGES
Tomeetcapacityandstaffingrequirements,yourscheduleforyourchild(ren)must remainconsistentthroughouttheschoolyear.Ifyouwishtomakeaschedule change,awrittenrequestmustbesubmittedatleast30daysinadvance.Schedule adjustmentswillbeaccommodatedbasedonspaceavailabilityandrequire approvalfromtheProgramDirector.

ABSENCES
Whenyourchildwillnotbeattendingonadaytheyusuallyattend,werequestthat younotifythedirectorasacourtesysowemayplanactivityofferingsandstaffing accordingly.Pleasecontactthedirectorby10:00am.Sincewestaffbasedonthe numberofchildrenenrolled,wecannotgiverefunds,credits,orexchangesfordays yourchildisabsent.Asadrop-inrecreationprogram,wedonotcalltoverify absences.
EMERGENCYDROP-IN
Emergencydrop-inisoffered(foranadditionalcost)whenschoolisinsession (providedspaceisavailable).PriorarrangementsmustbemadewiththeProgram Director.Emergencydrop-inisnotguaranteed.

Participantshave15minutesfromwhenthereleasebellringstosignintothe programatlunchareaA.After15minutes,thesignedinparticipantsandstaff memberswillwalktogethertoSRSRC.TheMRPandSRSRCisnotresponsibleforany participantswhoarenotsignedinatthistime,andisnotresponsiblefor transportingindividualstoSRSRCwhohavenotsignedinbythistime.
Onsomedays,wewillutilizeoneofourpassengervanstopickupbackpacksand musicalinstrumentssothatprogramparticipantsdonothavetowalkwiththese items.Ondayswhenthereisrainyweatherorveryhotweather,wemayutilizeour SRSRCpassengervanstotransportprogramparticipantstoSRSRC.However,our programisbasedonwalkingbacktoSRSRC,soallparticipantsshouldplanfor walkingonalldays.Anytransportationbyourpassengervanswillbedonebystaff withtheappropriatedriver’slicenseandwhohashadtheirdrivingrecordreviewed.

Participantsmaysignthemselvesoutatanytime.However,wepreferthatthey showusatextnotifyingusthattheparenthasarrivedintheparkinglotiftheyare notwithinsightofstaffatthetimeofpickup.
TheMRPendsat6:00p.m.Anyparticipantsstillatthefacilitywillsignthemselvesout oftheprogram.MembersofSRSRCmaystayandcontinuetousethefacilities.Nonmembersmustbepickedup.
DISCIPLINEANDBEHAVIOR
DISCIPLINEPOLICYANDBEHAVIORREPORTS
Corporalorphysicalpunishmentisstrictlyprohibited.Behavioralissuesarefirst addressedthroughcommunicationwiththechild.Ifdisruptivebehaviorpersists,the childmaybetemporarilyremovedfromtheactivityandmonitoredbyastaff memberuntiltheyarereadytoreturn.Insuchcases,anIncident/BehaviorReport maybecompletedandsharedwithparents.
Repeatedmisconductoractionsthatharmorendangerothers,staff,orthechild themselvesmayrequireaconferencebetweentheProgramDirectorandparents. AfterthreeIncident/BehaviorReports,thechildmayfaceanactionplan,suspension, orremovalfromtheprogram,dependingonthefrequencyand/orseverityofthe behavior.Seriousincidentsthatthreatensafetymayresultinimmediatesuspension orremoval,regardlessofpriorreports,attheDirector’sdiscretion.
AchildremovedfromtheprogramwillbeineligibleforSRSRCyouthprograms, includingchildcareandcamps,foraminimumof12monthsfromtheremovaldate. Re-enrollmentrequirespriorapprovalfromthechildcaredirectors.Parentsare responsibleforarrangingalternativecareincasesofearlypick-up,suspension,or programremoval.Finaldisciplinarydecisionsareatthesolediscretionofthe Directortoensurethesafetyandwell-beingofallparticipants.
BEHAVIORREPORTS
Behaviorformswillbeusedtohelpdocumentgoodbehaviorandbehaviorof concernaboutwhichwefeeltheparentsshouldbemadeaware.

SRSRCreservestherighttocheckparticipants’temperaturesdailypriortoattending programs.Childrenwithatemperatureof100°Forabovewillnotbeadmitted.Any childwhoexhibitssignsorsymptomsofillnesswillnotbeallowedtoattendyouth programs.Ifathermometerisnotavailable,SRSRCmayutilizeasymptomchecklist. Itistheparent’s/guardian’sresponsibilitytoHAVEABACK-UPPLANintheeventthat thechildmustremainhomeorbepickedupfromtheprogramduetoillness.Ifa childmustbepickedupduetoillness,theparentisresponsibleforhavingthechild pickedupwithin30minutes.
ILLNESSESANDABSENCES
Absencesshouldbereportedtotheprogramstaffonthemorningofthedayyour childwillnotbeattending.
Childrenwithanysymptomsofillnessinthepast24hoursmustremainathomefor thesafetyofall.Symptomsofcommunicablediseasemayinclude,butarenot limitedto,rash,redandwateryeyes,fever,cough,shortnessofbreathordifficulty breathing,chills,fatigue,muscleorbodyaches,headache,sorethroat,nausea, vomiting,diarrhea,congestionorrunnynose,and/oranewlossoftasteorsmell. Participantswithsymptomswillnotbepermittedtoremainattheprogram.Ifyour childexhibitssymptomsofCOVID-19,testingisrecommended.ChildrenwithCOVID19maynotreturnuntiltheymeettheCaliforniaDepartmentofPublicHealthcriteria, andSRSRCmayapplystricterrequirements.
Childrensenthomewithafevercanonlyreturnafterbeingfever-freefor24hours withoutfever-reducingmedicationandshowingimprovementorresolutionin symptoms.Atemperaturecheckmaybeconducteduponreturnusingaprogram thermometer.
Childrenonantibioticsmayreturnafter24hoursoftreatmentandadoctor’s clearance,providedtheymeethealthcriteria.
Childrenfeelingunwellwhoareunabletocomfortablyparticipateinactivitiesmay besenthome,evenwithoutafever.SRSRCreservestherighttosendachildhome ifwefeelitisinthebestinterestofthechild.Parentsmustarrangeforpickupwithin 30minutesiftheirchildbecomesillduringtheprogram;masksmayberequired untilpickup.
ImmediatelyinformtheDirectorifyourchildhasbeenexposedto,contracted,or showssymptomsofacontagiousillness(suchasCOVID-19,strepthroat,viral infection,pinworms,lice,measles,mumps,chickenpox,scarletfever,etc.).Certain diseasesmustbereportedtolicensingandpublichealthauthorities.
Dependingonthecircumstance,theDirectormayalertotherparentsthattheirchild mayhavebeenexposedtoacontagiousdisease(yourchild’snamewillnotbe included).
STATEMENTOFRISKRELATEDTOCOVID-19
AninherentriskofexposuretoCOVID-19existsinanypublicplacewherepeopleare present.COVID-19isanextremelycontagiousdiseasethatcanleadtosevereillness anddeath.ByvisitingSRSRC,youvoluntarilyassumeallrisksrelatedtoexposureto COVID-19foryouandyourchild.
EMERGENCYINJURIESANDILLNESSES
Theparent/guardianwillbecalledimmediatelytopickuptheirchildforemergency injuriesrequiringmedicalattentionorforseriousillness.Ifthelegalguardiancannot becontacted,SRSRCstaffwillbegincontactingtheemergencycontactslistedfor yourchild.
Foraninjuryorillnessbelievedtobebeyondourscope,emergencymedical services(911)maybecalledforemergencytreatment.Accident/Incidentreports fromthesupervisingstaffmemberordirectorwillbewrittenupandgiventothe parent.Anyexpensesforroutineoremergencymedicalcarearetheresponsibilityof theparent.
