Inordertomanuallyregistercampers,providingparentsanopportunityforparentsandCamp Directorstocollaboratetomakethebestscheduleforyourcamper,wehavetoturnon"waitlist" modeinoursystem.ThisdoesNOTmeanthatcampsinwaitlistmodearefull.
Step1:Parents/GuardiansreadthroughtheSRSRC CampBrochurethatoutlinesallthatwehaveto offeryourcamper.ReadthroughourParentHandbooksectionformoreinformationonourpolicies andprocedures,whichwillanswerfrequentlyaskedquestions.
Step2:Decideoncampsessiondates, selectweek-longcamps/singledaycamp,andselectpickup times.
Step3:LogonorcreateanewaccountthroughouronlineregistrationsystemCampBrainat https://srsrc.campbrainregistration.com/
Follow thedirectionstofilloutallrequiredformsandrequestallsessiondates,camps,and staggeredpick-uptimeslotyouwouldlikeforyourcamper.Youwillreceiveanautomatedemail responseonceyourrequesthasbeensuccessfullysubmitted.
Step4:Acampdirectorwillcontactyoubyemailorphonetoconfirmandhelpbuildyourcamper(s) registration,answeranyquestionsyoumayhave,processregistrationfees,andprovideyouwith anyadditionalinformation.Requestedcampsandoptionsaresubjecttoavailability.
Step5:DepositsandpaymentwillbeprocessedthroughCampBrainbyeitherpayinginfullor installmentswithavalidcreditcard.Installmentswillbechargedonthefirstdayofthemonthin whichthecampoccurs.

What if I am going to be late picking up my camper?
PleasecontacttheFrontDeskat271-6222andnotify staffthatyouwillbelatetopickup.Weappreciate yourfollowingtheselecteddrop-offandpick-uptimes. Pick-upsthatoccurafter5:30pmwillbeassesseda$10 feeplus$1perminutepast5:30pmpercamper.Ifa camperhasnotbeenpickedupby5:30pmwereferto his/heremergencyinformationandbegincalling numberslisted.Ifby6:30p.m.,wehavenotheardfrom aparentoremergencycontact,wehavenoother alternativeandareobligatedtoturnthechildoverto ChildProtectiveServices.
What if I need to drop off my camper late or pick up my camper early?
Scheduleoptionshavebeendesignedtobeflexiblefor yourschedule;however,intheeventthataneedarises forachangeinyourselecteddropofftimeorpickup time,pleaseconfirmavailabilitywithaCampDirector. Makearrangementsatleast1dayinadvance.
Ifyoumustpickupyourchildduetoanemergency, pleasecontactthefrontoffice,whocanrelayyour messagetothecampdirectororleadstaff.
What if my camper misses the van departure? Ifacamperisdroppedoffforadaycampprogram afterthevanhasdeparted,thecamperwillremain withtheon-sitecampprogramfortheday.In exceptionalcircumstances,acampdirectormaygive theirapprovalfortheparenttodropoffthecamperat theoff-sitelocationandnotifythecampstaffofthe camper'sarrival.Thisisnotalwaysfeasible,soplease plantohaveyourcamperatcampontime.
SRSRCCampswillnotsendavehiclebacktopickup latecampersordeliverachildtotheoff-siteprogram. Therewillalsobenocreditsorrefundsifacamper missesanoff-sitetripduetolatedropoff.
What if the off-site campers will be returning later than planned?
Ifthereareanychangesoremergenciesthatmay affectthearrivaltimesofthevansbacktocamp, parentsmaybenotifiedbyemail,byphonecallortext, verballyatpickup,orbythepostingofasignatthe individualcampstation,dependingonthe circumstance.
What are the safety procedures during transportation?
WhenusingtransportationbyvanforanSRSRCcamp, wefollowstrictproceduresrecommendedbyACA. Theseproceduresincludesitemssuchashavinga campcounselorconfirmcampersarebuckled,using boosterseatsasrequiredbylaw,andcheckingthat ourvansareingoodrepair.
Campersonthevanwillalwaysbesupervisedbya campstaff.WealwayscarrySRSRCcommunication devices(suchasSRSRCcellularphonesandwalkie talkies)incaseofemergency,firstaidsupplies,camp roster,aswellascopiesofcamperhealthhistoryforms inordertoensureasafetrip.SRSRCdoesnotuse privatevehiclesfortransportation.

Am I required to sign my camper in and out daily?
SRSRCrequiresthatallchildrenaretobeproperly signedinandoutbyanadultage18orolder,sothat childrencanbeproperlyassignedtoSRSRCstaffinthe morningandproperlysignedouttotheadultafter camp.Unfortunately,siblingsandothersunderthe ageof18maynotsignoutacamper.
Can my teenager sign him/herself out?
Participantsin6th-8thgradewillbeallowedtosign him/herselfinandoutwithaCamperReleaseForm completed/signedbytheparents.Camperswitha releaseformareexpectedtosigninattheselected sign-intimeandsign-outattheselectedsign-outtime. Camperswhosignthemselvesoutmustbepickedup. Thisconvenientoptionallowsforthecampertosign out,whiletheparentwaitsinfrontofthefacility.
What is the pick-up procedure if there is an emergency at camp?
Ifthereisanemergencyatcamp,suchasafire, lockdown,etc.,wewillnotifytheparentsbyemail, pushnotification,phonecall,ormobileapplication. Wewilllettheparentsknowwhenitissafetocome pickuptheircamperandprovideparentswithfurther instructions.

Campagendaswillbeattachedtothecampemailsent outtheFridaypriortothecampsession.Youmayalso askthefrontofficestaffforaprintedcopy.
What should my camper wear to camp?
Campersarerequiredtowearclosed-toeshoes,such astennisshoes.Campersmustwearclosed-toeshoes duringcampactivities.Skirtsanddressesshouldnot beworntocamp.Wewillbeengaginginactivitiesthat requirerunningandsomeactivitiesthatmayget messy,sowesuggestthatcamperswearclothing appropriatefortheircampactivities.
What should my camper bring to camp?
Campersmustbringamorningsnack,alunch,an afternoonsnack,andadrinkdaily.Pleasesendfood withyourcamperthatisnon-perishableanddoesnot requireheating,aswecannotaccommodatewith refrigerationandheating.Campersmustbringa refillablewaterbottletostayhydrated.
Lotionsunscreenwillbeprovidedforcampers; however,theycanbringtheirowntouse,andarealso encouragedtobringahatandasweatshirt.Campers areencouragedtokeepitemsinabackpack; everythingshouldbelabeled.
What shouldn't my camper bring to camp?
Expensiveclothing,jewelry,CDplayers,iPods,money (unlessotherwisespecifiedbythecampagenda),toys, games,cards,alcohol,drugs,personalsports equipment(unlessrequiredbySRSRC),vehicles, animals,weapons,cellphones,etc.SRSRCisnot responsibleforlostorstolenitems.Campersare responsibleforthebelongingsthattheybringwith themtocamp.
Certainitems,ifbroughttocamp,mayresultin immediateremovalfromthecamp,suchasweapons, alcohol,anddrugs.
Ifcellphonesarebroughttocamp,theymustbekept inthechild’sbackpack.SRSRCisnotresponsiblefor theloss,theft,ordamageofcellphonesand electronics,northecontentaccessedonthesedevices.
Will my camper be able to purchase lunch or snacks during camp?
Camperswillnothavetheopportunitytopurchase snacksorlunchitemsduringcamp.Campersmust bringamorningsnack,alunch,anafternoonsnack, andadrinkdaily.Pleasesendfoodwithyourcamper thatisnon-perishableanddoesnotrequireheating,as wecannotaccommodatewithrefrigerationand heating.Campersmustbringarefillablewaterbottle tostayhydratedthroughouttheday.
What if my camper forgets to bring lunch?
Ifacamperforgetstheirlunch,theparentwillbe calledtobringthecamperalunch.Ifunabletodoso,a pre-packagedlunchmaybeprovidedanda$10.00fee willbeassessedandchargedtoyourCampBrain account.
What if my camper loses something at camp?
Ifacamperlosesanitemon-site,therewillbealost andfoundareanearthecampbackpackarea.The campbackpackareawillbeemptiedandclearedat theendofeachweek.Belongingsnotclaimedwillbe donated.Youmayalsocheckthelostandfoundatthe poolandthegenerallostandfound

What camp activities have additional waivers? Somecampactivitiesmayrequireadditionalwaivers tobecompletedforthevendorsthatweutilize.An emailwillbesenttoyouwiththerequiredwaiveror youmayrequestawaiverfromaCampDirector.
Campersmusthavethewaivercompletelyfilledoutby aparentinordertoparticipate.Therecannotbeany exceptionsmade.
CAMPER SUPERVISION Who is watching my camper?
Themajorityofourcampstaffarecollegestudents andadultswithinthechildcarecareersetting.Some membersofourstaffmaybecredentialedteachers, someareincollegemajoringinelementaryeducation, somearealreadyworkingatschoolsinlocalschool districts,andsomeworkwithouryouthprogramsyear round.
Ofourstaff,themajorityare18yearsofageorolder. AllcounselorsaretrainedinCPRandfirstaid Some mayhavelifeguardingcertificationorotherrelevant specialcertifications.Ourstaffistrainedtousethe “ruleofthree,”toavoidsituationsinwhichtheymay beoneononewithacamper.Allofourstaffisdevoted toworkingwithandprovidingcareforthechildrenin ourcamps
What training does the camp staff receive?
Allnewcampstaffmembersarerequiredtoattendthe equivalentoffourtofivedaysoftrainingpriorto workinginthecampprogram.Manyofourcampstaff havebeencampersatSRSRCwhentheywereyounger, somehavehadmultiplesummersofexperiencewith us,andsomeareyearroundemployeesofSRSRCin theYouthProgramsDepartment.Leadershipstaffalso attendtrainingsessionspriortothestartofcamp. Duringthetrainingsessions,campcounselorslearn thepolicies,theprocedures,leadershipskills,howto properlyperformheadcounts,howtosigncampersin andout,andtheirresponsibilities.Trainingsessions alsofocusondevelopingandimprovinginteraction skillswithchildrenandhowtorespondtodisruptive behaviorinapositiveway.
How many staff will be watching my child?
Ourcamputilizesbetweena1:10and1:14staffto camperratiodependingonthegradebeingsupervised andtheactivity.Theremaybeexceptionstotheratios dependingonthecampenvironment,especiallywith campsthatofferenrollmentformultiplegradegroups.
Can camp staff babysit?
Ourcampcounselorsworkwellwithchildren; however,westronglydiscouragehavingstaffbabysit. Itisourpolicythatstaffmemberscanonlybabysitfor thosewhoareinourSRSRCcampprogramifthe arrangementissetupontheirown.Anybabysitting donebystaffisnotaffiliatedwithourcampprogram oranySRSRCprogram.
Can camp staff accept presents?
Ourstaffmembersareverydedicatedandworkhard; however,itisourpolicythatcampstaffcannotaccept gratuities.Ifinsteadyouwishtoofferfeedbackona staffmember’sjobwelldonepleasecontactaCamp Director.

Ourstaffspeakswiththecamper,allowsthecamperto sharehis/herviewoftheissueandanyrelevant information,allowsthecampertotaketimeoutto thinkabouttheiractionsandhowitaffectsthecamp experience,andthenletsthechildreturntothe activity.ThismayincludeavisittoourSensoryRoom, toencouragethecampertoself-regulate.
Ifmisbehaviorisrecurrentorthemisbehaviorismore severeordisruptive,thechildmayeitherbeaskedto sitoutduringanactivityortheparentmaybecalledto pickupthechild.Someactsmayresultinimmediate suspensionorexpulsionofthechildfromthecamp programincludingbutnotlimitedto:fighting, intentionallyharmingothers,theft,andpossessionof weaponsordrugs

Thecamperisgivenaverbalwarning,whichmay ormaynotinvolveatimeoutdependingon severity.

Thecamperisgivenawrittenbehaviorreport, whichonecopyisgiventotheparentandanother copyisgiventothecampdirector.Withabehavior report,thecamperwillsitoutduringpartofan activityandreflectupontheiractionswiththe guidanceofastaffmember.
Ifthecamperreceiveseitherthreebehavior reportsorabehaviorreportthatinvolvesathreat tothesafetyofthecamperorothers,suspension 3.
orexpulsionfromthecampprogrammayresult dependingontheseverity.Wedoourbesttowork withthecampertohelpresolvetheissuebefore implementingasuspensionorexpulsion.Physical misbehavior(suchashitting)duringpreviousYouth ProgramsenrollmentsatSRSRCwillbetakeninto accountwhendeterminingtheappropriateresponse.
What happens if my camper's behavior causes their removal from camp?
Ourgoalisforcamperstohaveasuccessfuland fulfillingtimeatcamp.Wewishthebestexperiencefor eachchild,whichmeanstakingintoaccounthow disruptivebehaviormayimpactothers’experienceat camp Ifourcampisnotafitatthistime,andthe campermustberemovedfromcamp,thecamper’s parentwillbenotifiedtopickupthecamper.
Camperswhoareremovedfromthecampprogram mayenrollincampsagainoneyearfromtheremoval datependingasuccessfulmeetingwithandapproval bythecampdirector.Theoneyearperiodgivesthe campertheopportunitytogrowanddeveloptheir skillspriortoenrollinginanySRSRCaffiliatedyouth program.
What is your policy on bullying?
Bullyingisaggressivebehaviortowardsanother individualwiththeintentionofcausingharm,inwhich thereexistsanimbalanceofpowerbetweenthebully andthevictim,whichoccursrepeatedlyorhasthe potentialtoberepeated(AmericanPsychological Association,2016).Bullyinghappenswhenapersonor groupofpeoplewanttohavepoweroveranotherand usetheirpowertogettheirway,attheexpenseof someoneelse.Bullyingcomesinmanyforms,suchas physical,verbal,andrelational.
Theremaybesomeinstanceswhereparticipantsmay haveadisagreementorgenerallynotgetalongwith
oneanother,whichisnotconsideredbullying behavior.Therearetimeswhenanindividualmight engageinrude(beingunintentionallyhurtful)ormean (intentionallyhurtful)behaviorsthroughunkindwords oractionsthatdonotconstitutebullyingbyits definition.SRSRCstaffworktoaddressthese behaviorsaswell.
AtScrippsRanchSwim&RacquetClub,bullyingisnot tolerated.Ourphilosophyisbasedonensuringthat everyprogramparticipanthastheopportunityto thriveduringtheirexperienceatSRSRC.Wework togetherasateamtoensurethatparticipantsgain self-confidence,makenewfriends,andgohomewith greatmemories.Bullyingbehavior,justlikeanyother disruptivebehavior,willbeaddressedbystaff followingourdisciplinaryguidelines.These progressivestepsincludereiteratingourprogramrules toensureanunderstandingofparticipantbehavior expectations,sharingabehaviorreportwiththe participant’sparents,andsuspensionorremovalfrom theprogramaswarrantedforcontinuedorserious issues.
CAMPER HEALTH & SAFETY What if my camper needs to take medication during the camp day?
TheCampDirector,aleadcounselor,orstaffmember withCampDirectorauthorization,willadministeryour child'smedicationasdirected.

What if my camper needs special accommodations?
1. Themedicationmustbeprescribedbyadoctor andinitsoriginalprescriptionbottlewithyour child'snameprintedonthelabel.Includewritten instructionsfromaphysicianasperquantity,time toadminister,anyotherdirections,andwritten clearancegivingSRSRCpermissiontoadminister themedication.Pleasespecifyifrefrigerationis necessary.

Acompletedmedicationreleaseformmustbe completedeveryweekorforthewholesummer forcamperswhoregisterformultipleweeks.This medicationreleaseformmustbeonfilewiththe CampDirectorbeforemedicationcanbe administeredtoyourchild.Thisformisavailable fromtheCampDirector,aswellasonlineinyour CampBrainaccount.
Nooverthecountermedicationwillbe administeredunlessapprovedontheHealth Historyformorwithparent'swrittenconsent.

4. Pleasepickupyourchild’smedicationafterthe lastweekforwhichyourcamperisenrolled.Ifitis notpickedupinatimelymanner,SRSRCmay disposeofthemedication.
Ifyourcamperrequiresspecialaccommodations,such asspecialmedicalneeds,pleasecontacttheCamp Directorpriortoregisteringforcampstodiscussifwe areabletoprovidesuitableaccommodationsfora successfulcampexperience.Ourgoalisforour camperstobesuccessfulandfeelincludedatcamp, however,wemustalsoworkwithinthelimitationsof ourtrainingandresources.
What if my camper becomes ill or injured at camp?
Ifyourchildbecomesillduringcamp,wewillcontact theparentbyphonetopickthechildup.Ifthelegal guardiancannotbecontacted,SRSRCstaffwillbegin contactingtheemergencycontactslistedonyour child'smedicalform.
Campisnotdesignedtohandleillchildren,soitisthe parent'sresponsibilitytopickhis/herchildup,or arrangepickupbyanemergencycontact,within30 minutes.Childrenwhoareshowingsignsor experiencingsymptomsofillnessshouldnotattend camp,andwillbesenthome.Campersmustbefeverfreeforaminimumof24hourswithouttheuseof fever-reducingmedications,mustnolongerbeinthe contagiousphaseoftheirillness,andsymptomsmust beresolvinginordertoreturntocamp.Camperswho aresenthomeduetoCOVID-19-likesymptomsmaybe requiredtopresentanegativeCOVID-19testpriorto returningtocamp.
Notfeelingwellmaypreventachildfromfully participatingin,andenjoying,thecampexperience. Sickcampersalsoriskthehealthofothercampers whowishtoenjoytheirowncampexperience.
Ifyourchildbecomesinjuredwhileatcamp,SRSRC staffwilltakewhateverstepsnecessarytoobtain
medicalcareforyourchild.Foraminorinjuryan accidentreportwillbefilledout.Foraninjurythatis believedtobebeyondourscope,emergency personnelwillbecalledoryourchildmaybe transportedtothehospitalinanSRSRCvehicle.Any expensesforroutineoremergencymedicalcareare theresponsibilityoftheparent.
What if a camper or staff member becomes ill with COVID-19?
Intheeventthatacamperorstaffmemberbecomesill withCOVID-19,itistheadult’sresponsibilityto communicatethiswithaCampDirectoror AdministratorofSRSRC.WewillfollowtheCA DepartmentofPublicHealthandtheCountyofSan Diegoguidanceforsituationsinwhichacamperor stafftestspositiveforCOVID-19.
What is the camp lice policy?
Wehaveanit-freepolicy.Ifachildisfoundtohavelice ornits,theparentwillbecalledtopickthechildup. Childrenwillbeabletoreturntotheprogramonce theyarenit-freeasseenbyacampdirectororlead staffmember.
What if I need to speak with my camper while they are at camp?
Pleasecallthefrontdeskstaff,andleaveamessage withthem.Theywilldotheirbesttorelaythemessage totheappropriatecampcounselorsandnotifyyour child.
Can camp staff report suspected child abuse?
Yes,anyprofessionalworkingwithchildrenis consideredamandatedreporter.Allcampstaffwho workdirectlywiththechildrenandcampdirectorsare allrequiredbylawtoreportsuspectedchildabuseto theproperauthorities.Thetelephonenumberofthe ChildProtectServicesis(619)560-2191.TheFamily StressCenter(619)691-1331assistsfamilieswith stressfultimesandprovidessuggestionsforparenting techniques.
Are face coverings required to be worn at camp?
WewillfollowtheCADepartmentofPublicHealth mandates,aswellaslocalmandates.Campers,staff, andparentsmayelecttowearamaskiftheyso choose.
Will sunscreen be applied to my camper throughout the day?
Sunscreenapplicationtimesareinthemorning, duringsnacktime,duringlunchtime,andinthe afternoon Sunscreenisalsoappliedbeforeanywater activities,suchasswimming.Ifyoudonotwant sunscreenappliedtoyourcamper,orwouldlikea specifictypeofsunscreenapplied,pleasehaveanote senttothecamper'scampcounselorforthesession andprovidethemwiththespecificsunscreen.
AtSRSRC,althoughweprovidelotionsunscreento eachcamper,ourcampcounselorscannotphysically applysunscreentothecamperswithoutparental consent,whichcanbegivenwhencompletingthe camper'shealthhistoryform.
What is the camp's bathroom procedure?
On-sitecampersutilizethebuddysystem.Nocamperisto gototherestroomwithoutabuddyorwithoutagroup. Duringdaytrips,dependingonthefacility,camperswill eitherusethebuddysystemorwillgoinagroup accompaniedbyacampcounselor.
Whenchangingforswimmingactivities,acampcounselor willstandwithinauditoryrangeofthelockerroom(or changingpods)andmayenterthelockerroomfor supervisionandsafetypurposes.
How do I communicate with the SRSRC camp staff?
Communicationbetweenparentsandthecampstaff caneitherbeinformalorformal.Wevalue communicationwithparentsasitgivesstaffvaluable insight.Vitalinformationtorelaytocampstaffmay includechangesinthefamily,including:moving, hospitalizationofafamilymemberorfriend, altercationsintheparents'relationship,etc.
Suchfactorsmayinfluenceacamper'sbehaviorand relationshipwithpeers,sothisinformationis beneficialtostaffinordertobestprovideforthe child'sneeds.Allsuchinformationwillbetreatedwith theutmostconfidence.Communicationcanoccur throughcampcounselors,orthecampdirectors. Informationpertinenttoyourcamper’shealth,safety, orexperiencemaybeprovidedtoselectcampstaff workingdirectlywithyourchildinadditionto leadershipstaff.
PROGRAM CONTENT Is there a structure that my camper will follow?
Thereisadailyagendathatincorporatesastructured flowforallcamperstofollow,helpingthemtransition fromoneactivitytoanother.Healthandsafety proceduresarealsoincorporatedintothedaily schedule,likehandwashingandre-applying sunscreen.
What type of activities will campers be participating in throughout the day?
Campersmayhavetheopportunitytoparticipatein dailyandweeklyactivitiessuchas:artprojects,group games,socialfreeplay,boardgames,science experiments,writingprompts,craftsandwaterplay activities.
Will there be camp evaluations?
Wevalueyourinputandwillsendoutanonlinesurvey tohelpustoevaluateoursummercampprograms.
What if it rains?
Intheeventthatitdoesrain,SRSRCstaffwillmakea decisionbasedontheintensityoftheweather.Ifthe decisionismadethattheraindoesimpactpreviously madeplans,staffwillutilizeotherappropriatepartsof ourfacilityormakealternativeplansthanwhatwere previouslyscheduled.Forsomecampactivities,the goalistoenjoythewatersoalittlerainmaynotcause achangeinplans.
POOL & BEACH SAFETY Will campers be able to use the pool during camp?
Campersmayhavetheopportunitytoswimbasedon weatherandscheduledcampactivities.Campersmust beabletochangeinandoutofswimattire independently.
Where do campers change into their swimsuits?
Camperschangeintotheirswimsuitsinourlocker roomswhileorinourchangingpodswhileon-site.The changingareasareokayedbystaffandthen monitoredforsafety(typicallyauditorily)while campersareutilizingthem.Whenchangingfor swimmingactivities,acampcounselorwillstand withinauditoryrangeofthelockerroom(orchanging pods)andmayenterthelockerroomforsupervision andsafetypurposes.
What if my camper can't swim or isn't water safe in the deep end?
SRSRClifeguardingandcamppersonnelperforma swimassessmenttodetermineacamper’sswimming abilitiesforcampersingrades1-8 Thisassessment consistsofonepoollength(approximately25yards) acrossthepoolinanystylethecamperfeelsmost comfortable,whilemaintainingahorizontalposition andwithoutrestingonthewallorlaneline.Thisis followedby30secondsoftreadingwaterand demonstratingthecampercanexitthepool independently.
Thosethatpassareallowedtoswiminallareasofthe pool,exceptforthelaplanes.Ifachildpasses,butstaff noticethechildbecomesfatiguedorunabletoswim withthesamestrengthasbefore,staffmayhavethe childstayintheappropriateshallowareaorwader pool.
Camperswhochoosenottotaketheswim assessment,donotsatisfactorilycompletetheswim assessment,becomeunabletoswimsafelyatany time,andcampersinTKorkindergartenreceivean orangeorredbracelet.Camperswithanorange braceletmayentertheshallowareaofthepoolor waderpool.Camperswithredbracelets,whoare under4feettallwillremaininthewaderpool.
Weencouragecamperswhoneedextrainstructionto participateinourswimlessonsthroughourAquatics department,forwhichyoumayalsoregisterthrough CampBrain.
How often do campers take the swim assessment?
SwimassessmentsaregivenonMondaysoronthefirst daythatthecamperchoosestoswimfortheweek. Campersmayonlytaketheswimassessmentonceper week.Wedonotofferswimassessmentsatother times,suchasapre-campswimassessment.
Acamperwhodoesnotpasstheswimassessmenthas theopportunitytotaketheswimassessmentthenext weekthattheyattendcamp Thisgivesthecamper timetoprogressandworkonbecomingastronger swimmerbeforeretakingtheswimassessment.
Camperswhopasstheswimassessmentmaystillbe askedtostayintheshallowareaattimesdepending oncertainfactorssuchasfatigue
What if my camper does not want to swim or forgot his/her swimsuit?
Ifacamperdoesnotbringhis/herswimsuit,theywill notparticipateinswimming.Ifacamperdoesnot wanttoswimtheymaybeprovidedanalternate activitychoice Duringswimtime,campersmayalso haveotheroptionsdependingonthecampranging fromgames,artcartactivities,orplaygroundtime.
