WHAT IS CERVICAL CANCER?

Cervical cancer is a form of cancer that affects the cells of the cervix, the lower part that connects with the vagina. When healthy cells on the cervix become infected or lose their viability, cervical cancer occurs. The tumor is a mass of uncontrolled cells that has been caused by HPV infection.
