Each sale-eligible bull has passed strict performance standards and has a complete record presented in the summary below the two-generation pedigree.
Bulls were scanned in accordance with LILA Lab procedures and interpretations. REA, IMF, and Fat adjustments were made to 365 days of age.
All bulls selling have had DNA submitted to their respective breed association for genomic evaluation and parentage verification. This increases the EPD accuracy to provide more certainty in decision making.

The Tifton Bull Test is in it’s 67 th year. That is an amazing accomplishment for sure. What is just as noteworthy is that this set of bulls offered will be the best and deepest set yet. Yes, everyone always says that right before a sale, but I sincerely mean that. When you see the bulls and evaluate the genetic packages being offered, I feel certain that you will agree. This group gained exceptionally well and looks the part too. These are bulls that you will not only be proud to own, but they will also transmit the genetics to ensure higher performing, more profitable calf crops that are in demand across the country.
This year at Tifton has really been great. That is due to the combination of great bulls and a great crew. Davy Rooks puts in 24 hours, 7 days a week with these bulls for the entirety of the test. I greatly appreciate his great cattle handling skills and excellent stewardship for both the bulls and HERD heifers. Grace Nyhuis has done an exceptional job managing the test this year. I really enjoy the opportunities to collaborate with Grace on the Tifton projects. Grace and Davy are a joy and pleasure to be around. They are what make the Tifton programs so successful. Lastly, Dr. Lawton Stewart went above and beyond this year to support the Tifton Bull Test as a nutritionist and advisor. Thankful for his leadership as our Extension coordinator in the Department.
The UGA Beef Team looks forward to seeing you all sale day. We want every beef cattle producer in Georgia and beyond to succeed and accomplish their goals. Please let us know if we can be of any help as you pursue those dreams.
Regards, Jason Duggin
