ICE Education Program for Families

‘Breakthrough’ is an initiative of the Victorian Government’s Ice Action Plan. This two night program covers key issues about ice, it’s effects on the brain and body, the relationship between drug use and mental health, strategies for dealing with the ice user and access to support and resources. The program is equally suitable for both interested community members and families who are directly impacted by a loved one’s ice use. Mental Health Week Celebration

Jan Cheatley (Resident Counsellor), will facilitate an interactive program where people can share and learn from each other’s experiences. We will explore ways of improving our mental well-being and offer strategies to enhance our quality of life. We will look at the power of; Self talk, Self esteem, Mindfulness, Shifting depression and Gratitude approaches. Bring your ideas and ways of lightening the journey.
