Three Kisses from New Tabor Marcus Blum, Mark Junek and Chandler Malazzo of the Lodge 17, New Tabor Youth Club participated in pre-game activites before the Texas MN vs. Missouri baseball game on April 27. Dressed as green, red and white Hershey's kisses, the boys ran a foot race which resulted in free candy bars for spectators and Aggie promotional items for the youngsters. See related story and photos on page 15.

"Once you've done it, you know you can do it again," says Supreme Lodge Vice President Gene McBride. "We reached our membership goals last year and we're well on track to accomplishing that again in 2002." Through May 24, sales representatives had written 903 applications for insurance certificates. "That puts us about 40 applications ahead of schedule," says Brother McBride. "That's a wonderful testament to the dedication and hard work of our volunteer sales force. "At the current pace, I have every reason to believe that we will achieve our goal of having at least 2,100 applications written right around Thanksgiving."

Gene McBride Guarantee Issue Coming Soon According to Brother McBride, it's not enough to simply say it's going to

happen. "We're creating the opportunities that will make it happen." One such opportunity is a new "guarantee issue" insurance program directed at members with $25,000 or less of SPJST coverage. The Insurance Department will start mailing information to members on the program in June. "If you have $25,000 or less coverage, you'll be receiving an offer in the mail that will enable you to purchase from $2,500 to $5,000 additional coverage without having to show proof of insurability. That will apply to both our whole life and single premium life certificates. Rates will be based on the member's present age. "The main reason that a person buys life insurance iS to create cash in time of need," says Brother McBride. "The additional coverage provided through the guarantee issue program may not seem like a lot to some people; however, for a lot of folks, that $5,000 will make a big difference in their time of need. If that sounds like you, we hope you'll take advantage of the limited time offer when you receive it." (Continued on page three.)
