Fifty Year Members Feted At SPJST; Sid Pokladnik Named Polka Grand Marshal

50 YEAR MEMBERSHIPS. Caldwell SPJST Lodge No. 186, Sunday, March 13, presented 50 year membership pins to three members. Receiving the pins were Mrs. Lydia English, Raymond Jurica and Frank Drgac. Mr. Drgac, left, holds the award ceremony cake while Lodge President Clint Luksa looks on.

Jansa's lapel while Mrs. Jansa looks on. By Elizabeth Krajca SPJST Lodge No. 25 recently honored thirteen of its members for remaining with the lodge for 50 years. Present for the special occasion were SPJST Supreme Lodge President, Nick Morris of Temple and Sid Pokladnik, SPJST District II director from Dallas. Mr. Morris commended these long-time members for joining during 1933, a time of great national depression. He pondered how they were able to raise the $2 or $3 that it took to pay their insurance premium with money so hard to come by. SPJST, a fraternal insurance or(Continued on Page 12)
