Sainsbury’s new ‘General Store’ furniture range – The pallet and crate trend has taken the blogging and Pinterest world by storm in the past few months. But if making furniture from disused pallets isn’t your thing, Sainsbury’s new ‘General Store’ range could be just the solution. All the pieces are made from solid, reclaimed pine that are between 60 and 80 years old and weathered, to create that timeless ‘inheritance’ look. Our favourite pieces are the 2-door cabinet, £499, the bar stool, £75 (left) and the pallet lookalike coffee table, £179 (below).
Transport cushions Add some va va vroom to your sofa with these vintage-esque transport cushions. The Cadillac, Vespa and Berlin bus designs also come in art prints, trays and mugs so you can mix and match to liven up your living room. Cushions, £25 each, John Lewis.
