SPOTLIGHT Ministry Ministry

The Southpointe Student Ministry partners with parents in the Biblical and spiritual formation of our students.

Our goals in Student Ministry are:

To ensure students know who they are in Christ - IDENTITY

To help them grow in their life of worship - PURPOSE

To connect them to a missional community of transformed worshipers - BELONGING.

Volunteer KennyFuller

SPOTLIGHT

My wife, Rachael and I have been at Southpointe for 12 years We started by volunteering on Sunday mornings with SP Kids where we learned to love the spirit of the families attending Southpointe. We found a real value in the focus on biblical teaching from the preschool classes to the pulpit.

Currently, I volunteer with SP Students as the Youth Worship Director and a Small Group Leader Directing the Youth Worship Team allows me to help our youth band channel their God-given talents into meaningful worship. Leading a Small Group allows me to get to know our 7th-8th grade boys on a deeper level

Witnessing our younger generation blossom into passionate seekers of Christ is reward enough for my time spent volunteering, but what I’ve found, is that through our conversations, my cup is filled and my biblical interests renewed. I would encourage you to pray about how God could use you in service to the community through your strengths.
