Where we are headed In the fall of 2019, we began wrestling with what the next move should be for Southpointe. When we started looking for property, there was nothing to be found that was local or within our budget, so we had to start considering other options. However, we worried that an extreme move out of Nolensville would make us a totally different church, and we weren’t comfortable with that. Then we found 7581 NOLENSVILLE ROAD. It was a miracle beyond a miracle because the property was not for sale. When we found the owner, he was compelled by our vision and shared how he had dreamed of his land going to a church someday. Not only did he agree to sell the 114 acres to us, but he sold it way below market value because he shared our vision.
God Is Able
WE PURCHASED 114 ACRES FOR ROUGHLY WHAT 2 ACRES BEHIND OUR CURRENT FACILITY WOULD HAVE COST. Anyone that hears this story says, “That can’t be true”. No, it IS true because we have a God who is ALIVE!

Our opportunity is about much more than bricks or mortar. It is about fulfilling our vision and mission to seek to glorify God by bringing the Southpointe area and where we serve into a life-changing encounter with the Kingdom of God. Our vision to build and impact our community is so big that it’s going to take ALL of us to pull it off.

Very few churches ever get to do this. We are the first generation of this church and are building a foundation that will minister to many generations. We will get to see our church move from impacting hundreds, to impacting thousands and maybe tens of thousands. Let’s SAVOR this!

We are entering the time where only a work of God will be able to pull this off. God is graciously calling us to deeper dependency on Himself. Specific prayers get specific answers. God wants to show us how real He is. To follow God’s call in this endeavor, it will take every family in our church to sacrificially commit to this. In 2 Samuel 24:24, King David says, “I will not offer to the Lord my God that which costs me nothing”. Although we won’t all be able to give the same amount, it is my desire that we all give at the same level of sacrifice.
Jesus says in John 11:40, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God.”
I have no doubt that God is going to stretch us and meet us and show Himself to be bigger and greater than any of us have imagined.
