Es el lugar que reúne la mayor cantidad de obras del maestro de la arquitectura del Siglo XX Frank Lloyd Wright, considerado el mejor arquitecto norteamericano de todos los tiempos. Ideó 18 estructuras para el campus, de las cuales se construyeron 12. Aquí, la visión que tuvo el artista de una “universidad del mañana” se plasma en cada diseño proyectado: la biblioteca, la capilla Ann Pfeiffer, el edificio de la ciencia, la casa Usonia. Un verdadero lujo recorrer las inmediaciones.

Leaving the colorful euphoria of the park behind, any visit to central Florida should include the campus of Florida Southern College in the town of Lakeland. Whether or not you’re an architecture enthusiast, you’re sure to be intrigued by the largest number of works in a single location by 20th-century master Frank Lloyd Wright. The premier U.S. architect designed 18 structures for the campus, and his vision of a “college for tomorrow” is evident in the 12 buildings that were finally constructed, including the library, the Annie Pfeiffer chapel, the science building and the Usonian House.
