Hello to you!

Well a few months off turned into a whole lot more. I had taken respite from the magazine in 2015. My mother in law was battling cancer and I asked her to move in with us. It was so nice to have her home. On April fools day 2016 I discovered we were having our second child. A short 15 days later my mother in law, Jane Dolph, passed away quickly, at home, with her sons by her side. After the whirlwind of emotions ended I decided to stay focused on my growing family. In November 2016 we welcomed Ozden Allen Dolph to the family. We went through the turbulent first year of his life, relearning all it meant to have a baby in the house. As he began to walk I could feel my pull toward moving forward awakening as well. After some deliberation I felt it was time to reignite South Shore and Cape Cod Metaphysics Magazine. Though our site was always available I had no actively engaged with it in nearly 2 years.

So it is with much excitement to be delivering our first magazine to you! We will be releasing two issues this year, and I am so honored to have you here. Thank you for all of your support!

Natural Tick Repellent It’s time to play outside and it’s Tick season. With Lyme disease on the rise it is very important to protect your family, pets and self from them. Many store bought tick repellents include chemicals that can be harmful, especially when used regularly. We don’t need to add to our health concerns while removing others, especially seeing there are natural and proven ways to repel and deter ticks. The CDC agrees that there are many natural repellents that are effective for skin, gardens and lawns.

The most common repellent spoken of is cedar oil, you will find this recommendation all over the internet but keep in mind it is not safe for animals unless you are using Texas Cedarwood Oil. Cedarwood chips in the garden is a wonderful way to protect it from ticks and yourself, when you enter your garden. Cedarwood oil can be used in a homemade spray for your clothing.

Garlic Oil is a wonderful tick deterrent but is also very smelly and often causes skin irritation.

It is best used on lawns and gardens.

With all oils and lotions it is best to check the skin by using a small amount on a small area of the skin to check for reactions. Essential oils are not recommended for babies under 6 months and care should be used in all young children. Applying sprays to clothing rather than skin is also effective. If you see any type of reaction take clothes off and wash skin for any lingering traces.

Rose Geranium Essential Oil is safe for dogs but not cats! With all oils it should be used with caution on young children. For adults placing a few drops on wrists, ankles and neck is sufficient. For dog's apply to shoulder blades and base of tail. You may also make these into sprays and lotions found below.

Catnip oil is safe for cats though it should be placed on areas they can not lick, as it is much stronger as an oil then giving them a bit of dried catnip. This is also great in sprays and has the 9

added benefit of repelling mosquitoes as well.

Garlic Spray For Gardens and Lawns

Lemon Eucalyptus Oil, is also effective in keeping away ticks.

Almond oil is a wonderful base for creating sprays as it has sulfur that is also a natural tick repellent. Apple Cider Vinegar or Distilled white vinegar are also wonderful base ingredients for sprays and are also repelling in nature to ticks and other irritating insects.

INGREDIENTS

The following recipes are all natural and should be shaken before each use. The amount of time between applications will be determined by you, as each person is different in their ability to attract ticks. Things like how much you sweat, your heart rate, and even your blood sugar can attract ticks to you. If you are someone who often gets bit first you may need to apply every 45 mins while someone who is rarely bitten by insects may only need to reapply every 2 hours.

Water based sprays also need to be applied more often than oil based sprays. Finding the best time to reapply will be up to you, but we suggest every 2 hours at least.

Even when using repellants it is important to check yourself, your pets and your children for ticks as soon as you come in.

Finding them early is important!

Use glass or PET plastic spray bottles when possible.

Essential oils can leach chemicals from some plastics.

2 whole heads garlic, cloves separated and peeled • 3 c. mint leaves • 12 c. water •

INSTRUCTIONS Add the garlic and mint to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds. Transfer mixture to a large pot and add 12cups water. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and let sit overnight. Strain into a couple spray bottles (or gallon garden sprayer). Shake well before each use. This mainly repels bugs, though if they rub against it, it can kill them. Spray all the leaves on affected plants, including the undersides. Wait a few days to see the effect and then apply more if needed.

Water Based Spray INGREDIENTS • 4 oz. apple cider vinegar • 4 oz. water • 10 drops geranium bourbon essential oil • 10 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil • 10 drops cedar essential oil INSTRUCTIONS Essential oils don’t mix well with water, start by adding your geranium oil, lemon eucalyptus oil and cedar oil to the apple cider vinegar. Store in a cool, dark area when not in use. Last 2-3 months. Shake well before use. Spray on skin or clothes before going outside.

How Aromatherapy Affects Your Mood

Did you know that essential oils can be used to help ease anxiety, depression and other mental health issues? They can also support relaxation and help manage stress! Our strongest sense is our sense of smell. Smell is the fastest way to affect mood. So, diffusing essential oils allows the aromatic compounds to have a profound effect on our brain. There are several parts of our brain that are involved in our sense of smell, including centers of the brain that pertain to emotions, memory and learning. These areas of the brain are called the thalamus, hippocampus and amygdala. The molecules from the diffused essential oils interact with our olfactory system, which in turn impacts our brain chemistry. These molecules attach to receptor sites that release neurotransmitters like dopamine, GABA, serotonin and norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters regulate our body chemistry and physical functions.

Now that you have the chemistry down behind essential oils, let’s talk oils! Always choose your oils carefully and purchase Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils. Essential oils can enhance our emotional state and promote feelings of wellness. So, certain essential oils can be used when someone is experiencing certain feelings.

Dopamine is responsible for motivation, interest, and drive. It is associated with positive stress states such as being in love, exercising and sex. When we don't have enough of it, we have difficulty initiating or completing tasks, poor concentration, no energy, and lack of motivation. If someone is having difficulties with boredom and feeling dispassionate, the spice oils like Clove and Cinnamon are beneficial and provide warming properties. Great oils to use for attention and motivation are InTune Focus Blend, Roman Chamomile and Mandarin. And to help increase your sex drive, an individual can use Clary Sage, Rose and Jasmine.

Serotonin imbalance is one of the key contributors to depression and other mood disorders. It is also linked to sleep and appetite, which can be symptoms of a mood disorder. Serotonin is critical to feelings of self-worth and happiness. If you are experiencing sadness and/or grief, the tree oils are great to use because it helps us feel grounded and helps soothe us. Arborvitae, Copaiba, Douglas Fir and Siberian Fir are examples of tree oils.

When a person is trying to cope with feelings of discouragement, feeling gloomy or distressed, the citrus oils such as Lemon, Wild Orange, Lime and Grapefruit are wonderful to use because they have uplifting properties.

The Serenity Blend, Lavender, Roman Chamomile and Vetiver are great to help promote sleep. Peppermint and Ginger can help increase your appetite, while grapefruit can suppress it.

Norepinephrine is associated with mental alertness, concentration, focus, and our stress response. It is our fight-or-flight response. Excessive norepinephrine can leave you anxious and vigilant or feeling apathetic, foggy, unmotivated, fatigued, or just plan miserable. If someone is feeling fearful or worried, floral oils such as Geranium, Jasmine, Rose and Lavender provide calming characteristics. When a person is contending with feelings of apathy, insecurity or anxiety, the mint category, such as Peppermint and Spearmint are known to be uplifting and energizing.

GABA helps calm the nervous system and helps control fear or anxiety when neurons are overexcited. But too little GABA can be associated with high anxiety, impulsivity, inability to handle stress, restlessness, and irritability. If someone is experiencing anger or discontentment, we can choose an oil from the herbs and grass category, like Basil, Rosemary, Oregano, Vetiver or Ginger. Due to their chemical makeup, the herb and grass oils help promote soothing, grounding emotions and feelings of rejuvenation.

Oils do not just have to be used for negative emotions.

If you would like to enhance your positive emotional state, like calmness, contentment, trust, joy, excitement and passion, some examples of oils that we could diffuse are: Arborvitae, Jasmine, Rose, Tangerine, Bergamot, Wild Orange, Lime, and Melissa.

As you can see, neurotransmitters can be responsible for some of the same feelings when not triggering correctly. Consequently, some of the same categories of oils can be used to help alleviate those symptoms.

When it comes to essential oils, less is more! Only one or two drops in the diffuser will do and choose the one that speaks to you. Essential oils are a great addition to your everyday life and are proven to be valuable for any type of emotion.

8 Steps to Self Acceptance: Live more Authentically

By Heather Keay I believe we’re all born innocent and pure.

However, over the years we all tend to accumulate negativity and hang onto our missteps and mistakes, which later become regrets. Please know that no one lives a perfect life! In order to begin a practice of self-acceptance, it’s important to make a full and complete analysis of who we really are and who we’ve become over the years.

Honesty The biggest requirement here is honesty. To do this, it’s important to be fully honest with ourselves. Needless to say, this can be a very hard thing for many of us to do. When we set aside time to take an honest review of our lives, we’re able to identify areas that have held us back.

1. Keep a journal and write down a list of things for which you are grateful every day.

Facing our transgressions is healing in and of itself, in fact, this can act as our own purification system. Acceptance of mistakes and transgressions is a large part of allowing ourselves to be who and what we are and, in short, who we came here to be!

2. Pay attention to the people with whom you associate and the way you feel around them.

If you need to cut your social circle in half, do it. We’ve all either experienced or observed 21

unhealthy relationships. By unhealthy I mean relationships that cause slow destruction and/or hold us back from our true mission in this lifetime.

3. People pleasing can be exhausting, learn to say no and set healthy boundaries.

Looking back now, I realize how often I failed to do anything about my involvement in toxic relationships. In fact, I went from one toxic relationship to another, over and over again. Finally, after a certain point, as I became more aware of my repetitive behavior, I began to see that the reason I gravitated toward these relationships, and remained with toxic people for so long, stemmed from lack of self-confidence. The first step toward healing yourself comes through acknowledging the nature of these types of relationships.

4. Release all guilt and forgive yourself!

We all are all human and make mistakes.

It’s how we learn and grow. Think of mistakes and missteps as necessary for your spiritual growth. When we become our true authentic selves, then external influences can no longer stop us--after all, no one deserves to be held back by those who are mentally or physically abusive!

Sadly, often based on early life experiences, many of us do not feel worthy.

Sometimes we may feel there wasn’t much love then, which makes it even harder to accept it now. Likewise, substance abuse, our own or that of others, holds us back in

exactly the same way.

Accepting forgiveness, and learning to forgive others, may be one of the most difficult things to master. Often it’s not in peoples’ nature to automatically forgive and/or accept forgiveness from others who’ve caused them harm. Rather, many are more comfortable--whether through social conditioning or inherent temperament --trying to exact revenge and clinging to old grievances and the negative memory of those who’ve harmed them.

5. Make sure you’re always living in the moment; don't look back because nothing good will come of it.

Living in the moment is the best way to free yourself of judgment and regrets, and to live the life you’re truly meant to live. It helps to remember that we all endure disappointment, hardship, and pain in this life. And yes, the scars these hardships leave behind can cause us to become bitter and vengeful. Admittedly, when flashbacks occur, it can be very difficult not to get upset all over again.

They say that wisdom comes with a price, and many of us have the scars to prove it!

Forgiveness becomes the beginning of letting go of carrying around such baggage.

Think about how much more freely we can all move forward if we’re not lugging fifty pound weights behind us everywhere we go!

Lack of forgiveness can actually hold us back from experiencing a life filled with peace. Forgiveness is the key that helps unlock the gates of our own prison. Once

we develop the capability to understand that all of our past is actually by design, we are no longer bound by such restrictions.

Instead, we are free.

7. Don’t waste time reading, watching, or talking about negative stuff.

6. Fit a meditation period and daily exercise routine into your life.

Stay clear of horror movies, sad stories and gossipers. All of those things will just lower your vibration and your energy, which will make it harder to receive accurate messages.

A lot of people struggle with meditating. I have always found that walking meditations can be very helpful. I get more messages while out walking alone quietly in nature than when sitting in group meditation classes. You need to do what works best for you. Do not get frustrated with yourself if you cannot receive messages clearly. It takes time, dedication, and practice.

8. Get out in nature.

You don’t have to overexert yourself; a simple 10 minute walk in nature is sufficient! Nothing is more grounding then spending some time in nature. Take your shoes off, feel the earth beneath your feet. Being in nature is also very clearing.

I have always considered myself to be a fairly organized person. Mapping out my to do lists. Gathering necessary supplies for creative projects. Busily keeping things together, tidy, always planning. For many years I was a Wedding floral and Event designer. I had to be together and organized. I also worked as a creative editor for a home and antiques magazine for several years. I organized content and photo shoots, so yes organization and planning was a must. The creative aspect of projects was never a problem. I was fortunate to be gifted with artistic talents, and the ability to tap into an ever imaginative bend of mind. Ideas f lowed effortlessly. I drifted through one event after another, one photo shoot after another with confidence of being in control. Looking back, yes, I was always planning one thing or another, workshops, tea parties. I eagerly looked towards the future, what would it bring, what jobs would float into my path? I am an intuitive creator, a designer of fabulous spaces and an amazingly magical life after all!

All that planning and all that control came to an abrupt halt heading into August of last Summer.

Without warning I had a major life changing event occur. One that I nor anyone else would be planning for. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The day that call came to me with those results absolutely knocked the breath out of me.

It tore me open, raw to every emotion you might imagine being given this dark news. My head was spinning with fearful thoughts of what was ahead of me and anxiety quickly set in. Fueling my fear and anxiety was not knowing what process I was going to have to go through. The fear and anxiety was paralyzing. The thought of my life ending was in the forefront of thoughts.

This was an absolute possibility. It could not end! I have too much to do still! I was a lifetime away from the moments prior to the call. The time that all was well in my organized, controlled life. I had been brought down to my knees. I was running in every direction in my mind. So many emotions running like wild horses taking over every aspect of who I am as I sat there, totally out of control.

It became more evident that I was clearly not in control after the two hour consultation with the surgeon following that call on that same day.

Obtaining a course of action going forward did not help me feel I was gaining any security.

Knowing the surgical procedure, and potential treatments to follow were obviously not choices I would make for myself. Someone else was making choices for me. Not going to lie and paint it rosie, I was terrified.

Returning to the safety of my sacred space within my home, I played out in my mind that for the next several months I would be undergoing surgery and courses of treatments. Someone else would be planning my time. Someone else would be telling me where I was to go and who I would be with and what I would be doing. I was crawling out of my skin. I sat there in stillness for a bit, in contemplation of the process. Staring off into the space between space, the space that I find inner peace and connect with when I meditate and pray. Without warning an unexplained luxurious sense of calm flowed through my whole being. It caught my attention and I sat there languishing in it. It was warm and bright and I did not want the feeling to end. It was bringing me back to who I knew I was. It took me back to the person who trusts in a higher power and knows all things in life are divinely planned whether we like them or not.

Back to the person who knows we are here for a reason and each have a journey designed for them. I took in a deep breath and at that moment freed myself from the worry and concern about my life. Freed from the anxiety of surgery, treatments and where it would all lead.

At that very moment I surrendered it all to the Divine Universe. I handed it over, without reservation and gave all control to the Divine. I spoke directly to the Divine and was thankful for the opportunity to put my life in loving hands. I expressed my gratitude for the opportunity to take this journey and trusted there was a plan for me and that I fully accepted the plan. I filled my heart with trusting it would all be as it should be. I trusted that the only control I had over the circumstance was my reaction to it. I chose to react with trust and love.

I sat in total calm, total peace and total acceptance. I would focus on living. Loving every moment granted me. I would laugh at this cancer bump in the road. I would laugh with it and about it. I looked at the whole process as a gift, an opportunity to go forward without hesitation or reservation not looking to tomorrow, but focusing on living fully today.

There certainly were challenging times and I devised ways to approach them. I remember my first time on the table for radiation. It was a bit frightening not knowing what it was going to feel like. I felt a tinge of fear rising and that sense of panic. I went back to that day with the luxurious feeling of calm and started to deep breath to bring me back to the center of peace within me. I would think of the small children who do treatments daily without full understanding of what is happening to their little bodies. They became my heroes to think about through my journey. I prayed and would be grateful for the availability of technology we have. I looked at it as a job. I would rise early in the morning, shower, put my makeup on, get dressed and drive to my treatments. I also laughed about it and made jokes. I caught a couple of the radiation technicians off guard one day. I walked into the room and one asked me if I was ready to hop on the table. I was experiencing a burn at this point from the radiation, it was uncomfortable. I looked at her and said “ sure I am ready to get on the crisper, I don’t think I am done enough yet”! There were a few laughs that day!

My last treatment was the day before Thanksgiving. I stood in gratitude and prayer with my family for my end of radiation treatments. I have learned many lessons from this journey that I had no control in. Valuable lessons I will gladly, lovingly share with others

First and foremost for me was when things don't seem to be going the way you truly want them to, know that you are not in control. The details of our lives have been decided and designed by a higher power.

Know that it is sometimes in the stars for us to be able to hand control over and navigate onward being flexible to adjust things.

Sometimes we must be willing to completely surrender our power and trust the journey and process. Know there is a Divine plan and it is not always our making. The process puts you on your true path. Be open to all possibilities.

I am delighted to say I am on the other side of this unexpected episode of a cancer diagnosis. Surgery and treatments went amazingly well. I am moving forward with gratitude, a positive outcome with a healthy future, loving every moment of every day. I do not take anything for granted any more. None of us know from moment to moment what our future holds.

We all have those bumps in the road right? Some larger than others. Not always a diagnosis of cancer. This one has lead me in my true direction. Down a peaceful paced life path, full of gratitude. This has been a gift from the Divine, setting me in a new direction. Blissfully out of control.

Letting Go of the Need to Impress It may not seem as though we are actually trying to live our lives to impress others.

However, if any of the words in this article resonate with you your default method may be to see how you’re looking in order to gauge “how you’re doing”. In other words, how you’re keeping up appearances.

The temptation is quite alluring in our socialmedia world today. Posts about picturesque situations and lives abound. One might even state that there’s no point in posting about negativity or hard times, which is a valid point of view. However, there is often some resulting confusion between how things look and what’s really going on, since what we see can often seem like the whole story.

Even out in the “real world”, we don’t want to make ourselves look bad. We want to appear as if we’ve got everything under control. It’s understandable. But what if we are taking this to an extreme? What if we are so concerned about fitting in and about what others think that we are afraid to make a decision or embark on a journey simply because we’re afraid of what others might think?

A few minutes of meditation or just closing one’s eyes and doing some deep, slow breathing in a quiet space can help us shut out the noise of the world every day. By doing this and focusing on the breath we can literally learn how to listen to ourselves. It’s also nice to have the added benefits that can come from slowing down a bit!

There are many steps we can take to follow our own lead. These steps are a process of looking within so we don’t need to worry about what others think.

Thinking about or worrying about what others think of us can seriously drain our energy. Unhealthy attachments form in our energy systems, especially (but not limited to) the 2nd or navel chakra, the heart chakra and the 6th or third-eye chakra. Since everything is energy we can start with taking care of our own energy.

Once we learn how to care for our energy systems and clear those unhealthy attachments, outside influences lose their ability to affect us.

It’s most likely that no one’s really watching anyway. At least not for long.

Sure, our friends and family may see our latest Facebook post or ask what we’re up to at a family event and form an opinion (either expressed or not). It won’t be long before they are on their way though. People are so busy with their own lives that they’re not really giving us that much thought anyway. That’s not to say they don’t care.

Our fast-paced lives don’t seem to allow us that much time!

Take care of and guard your energy.

Fortunately these steps do not need to prevent us from enjoying relationships with others. However, with a little time and consistent practice, there is much we can do to live life truly on our own terms. It can be so freeing to not feel the need to impress anyone!

Your top advisor is you.

As adults, we have the absolute right to make our own decisions. This may seem like an obvious statement, yet it’s something we can easily forget. Although we may seek and receive advice from well-meaning people in our lives, the final choice is ours each day, just as it it is not our responsibility to parent in the same way that our neighbor or other parents on our children’s sports teams might. Each decision we make has to be based on what works for us, not what on what others are doing or think we should do.

The permission of others is not necessary.

Once an undertaking has begun or a decision has been made, there is no need to submit to others for approval.

Approval-seeking is often a fruitless endeavor. Since no one really is in our shoes, when we are seeking approval, we are really asking someone else to know what it’s like to be us. Then we unconsciously expect that someone to agree with us. Why should we give our power away and cast unrealistic expectations on others?

Look within.

Many know of the craft of dowsing as it is ancient. Women use to use a needle and thread over a pregnant woman’s belly while men used a rod to dowse for water. There are huge gatherings where dowsers share how they use their dowsing skills and tools. You can find water, scan a body, dowse for supplements, dosage and how many times to take it. Now you can dowse very easily anywhere without anything but your body. The earths vibrational resonance has quickened and so your body’s polarity can now create a magnetic field that allows for body dowsing. This now allows us to use our body as a dowsing tool.

For those who do not know how to body dowse, it is simple. It is important you are hydrated and in balance when you dowse. Standing facing the North will create more of a flow for you energetically and putting energy/emotion into your statements also helps. Dowsing requires making statements and then allowing for a response. Do not ask questions, that is not how it works. You are making a statement and then seeing if a positive or negative response occurs.

The first statement you make should be a test to see how your body is responding to your statements. Keep it neutral. If you find the directions change for you that means your energy has shifted. This is why it is important to see first how your body will answer yes and no every time. Stand facing the north and make the statement “My name is ______” and say someone else’s name. Take note of the direction for that is the direction that would mean no. Then say, “My name is” and say your name ______. Your response, your body moving backward or forwards or from side to side, is how your body is answering yes. If the answer is not clear I suggest you work to find balance. Hydrate do some EFT to clear blockages, pull a card to understand what is blocking you, in other words, use your tools. You also cannot feel negatively about dowsing or be in a negative state. If you find it difficult you can find someone who dowses to help you.

They can test and find your blockage. Let me say that a negative response is not necessarily bad if your question is say… “I will not get what I want” a negative response would mean that statement is not true.

Here is an example of how to use body dowsing to find what limits us. Making statements like the ones below gives us a broader picture of what we need to change so the new intentions can manifest. Some beliefs are also called psychological reversals that stop us from changing our core beliefs. “I believe I can change” a no to this tells one a lot. Below are some statements you can dowse for and see if you need to address any. Identify your own beliefs that may create limitations in your life. This is just an example of how you can use body dowsing. After you test dowse you can make each statement and see which way your body goes. True or false, Positive or Negative, Yes or No. If you say, “I am open and willing to heal” and your body says no there is a block to address. Making statements like, "my unwillingness to heal comes from this lifetime" will help you know what to transform.

Below are some examples of statements to make when you feel blocked. It is important you find your own statements that relate to your journey.  I am open and willing to heal.  It is safe to heal and change.  I want to change.       

I will be OK if I am well.

I trust myself.

I deserve love.

It is safe to know my destiny.

I can change.

It is possible for me to change.

I will allow myself to change.

 I will do what is necessary

to change.  I am afraid to change.  I am good enough.

Create your own questions about your own personal journey, you will be amazed at how understanding what hinders your destiny changes your life.

If you test for any of these statements and want to get to the source of that belief continue to dowse. You can continue testing asking the questions that will lead to you finding the answers needed. You can also ask permission to go to the time of cause to help find the source of the belief. You can ask if you were 110 years old, if no, ask 10-20 until you find your age at the time of cause. You can then ask for the month the experience occurred to remember it clearer and relate to what happened during that time in your life.

Getting to the source is important to clear the reason you have these beliefs and to transform experience into personal power. If it was resolved, you would no longer experience it.

For transforming those beliefs that limit us there are many different modalities. I like EFT because it is easy, you can do it anywhere and it is easy to share with others. You can go on YouTube and type in "EFT my father left", or "EFT lower back pain" and you can tap along with someone very easily. Just be sure to make it your own, to stop and recognize your own story and tap on that also. Gary Craig is my favorite teacher he has an amazing history with EFT. Flower essences are also helpful as well as essential oils, regression, visualization and many other tools and techniques that help transform those lower frequencies into higher ones as we evolve. You can dowse and state what percentage of this limitation you have transformed. “I have cleared 1 to 50 percent of _________” if no “I have cleared 1-75” until you find what percentage you have transformed. We are blessed because now there are so many different ways to change beliefs and limitations. Sometimes it happens instantly once you become aware of the illusions anchoring those beliefs.

I also use the Mirror Cards by Geoff Charley & Lucy Lidell when I need subconscious wisdom. I use them with EFT I am tapping out the negative aspect of the card I pull and then tapping in the positive wisdom.

You can do this with any cards, yet the Mirror cards are created to show you what beliefs need to be adjusted to align up with your intentions. It is important that you do your own research and find teachers who make sense and you resonate with. You can do a lot of this healing yourself when things arise. The most difficult part of all of this is knowing the subconscious beliefs that need to be transformed… they are subconscious. We often need someone to help us get there as we are unaware of it consciously and have blocked it. Remember these feelings are thought forms and a part of you it is not about getting rid of them but about transforming them.

Whatever way you choose to make the changes necessary if done in a sacred manner and with love the results will be an amazing journey and lead you to your destiny.

I would like to start this off by saying a lot of what has happened throughout my life has few explanations and is hard to prove or disprove.

Many of my experiences have been personal and some have been witnessed by more than just me. I am a paranormal investigator and have been having unexplained experiences since as early as I can remember. My name is Todd Koep and I started a group with Kerry Martin called T&K Paranormal Research Society. We are a 6-person team that are from all walks of life and range greatly in the paranormal field. We help others in many ways, we do research, we do investigations and we help explain the who and why of what is or is not going on around them. In August of 2017, we landed a high-profile case with a municipality on the South Shore in Massachusetts.

Before we start any investigation our case manager, Shana does a very thorough questioning of the client to gather any information that we could use when we get on site. We always start by going through the claims and trying to debunk them first. If we can then we have some answers for our client but if not and we are able to replicate what the claims are, then we will always go back from follow up investigations until we are able to answer the two questions WHO and WHY… Our first investigation with the newly formed T&K Paranormal Research Society was for a town on the South Shore in Massachusetts.

They had reached out to us to talk about what was going on in the old jail, which is now the water dept for the town. Some of the claims were of sounds of things falling off the walls, voices and whispers, footsteps and one death by personal hanging in one of the jail cells. What

Our first investigation included Kerry, Kevin and myself. From the time we were setting up the DVR and Infrared (night vision) cameras Kevin and I had been in the basement and I had heard a whisper in my ear and then both Kevin and I heard a voice, I had walked upstairs to grab the voice recorder and on my way up the stairs I had heard a woman talking clear as day. Kerry who had been upstairs at the time had yelled out “did you hear that?” as I was walking up the stairs. We had both heard the same thing at the same time and we also knew this was going to be a fun night. After the cameras were set up we went “lights out” and started the investigation. The evening was quiet from that point on until after midnight when we started hearing things and picking up readings on the equipment in the conference

We ended up spending the rest of the night until 3 am in the conference room with audio recorders running. That night we picked up over 20 EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena). EVPs are when you pick up a voice on your voice recorder that you cannot hear with your own ears. The theory behind this is that human ears can only hear a small range of frequencies where the audio recorders can record most or all frequencies so when you play back your recording you can hear something that you could not in real time. Some of the things we heard during evidence review was a child's voice saying “watch out” to Kevin and another a few minutes later of a male saying “Don’t do that” while he was setting up a camera in the basement. We also captured a few names, one that was found on a civil war memorial across the street.

This time we setup the DVR and Cameras in the new building and ran audio in the building we were returning to investigate.

This night turned out to be just as good as the first. We had various personal experiences, We tracked something moving between the two structures using electromagnetic instruments and we had one report from Kerry of something touching his arm. Kevin was with him at the time of the event and after that, they both reported a very heavy feeling that had come over them both at the same time. They both had to step outside for some fresh air and to regain their composure. The night ended around 3 am again and we ended up capturing over 40 EVPs this round.

This is still an ongoing case for TKPRS and we continue to find new things that may have to do with the who and why for our client. Currently, we have a pretty good hold on the who is in there but now we are working on the why. This is the hardest part of what we do is to answer the why something is in the location. It could be a comfortable place, it could have something to do with trauma, it could have been a place that was a happy place for the entity or it could be attached to something in the location. These are all the things we try to figure out.

Many of us are working hard at becoming the highest version of ourselves that we can be. The 12 Rays of God are a gift to us from the Creator, or All That Is. The substance of each ray is electrical energy which is radiated in frequency bands directly from Source. Studying and meditating with the Rays can be a highly effective spiritual practice as we ascend into Higher Consciousness.

The first 7 Rays are associated with Spiritual and Esoteric Psychology, which assist humankind with understanding and embodying high spiritual truths.

The rays work with us multi-dimensionally, so all the “bodies” (physical, emotional, mental, astral, celestial etc.) can ascend and heal. As the Rays come down through the dimensions their purpose, color, and function sometimes change form. Just as the Earth ascends and humankind evolves, so do the rays of light and their Chohans, which are Masters or overseers of the Rays. Chohans are generally Archangels and Ascended Masters. Some Chohans oversee a particular ray for a limited amount of time as they evolve into new positions. This makes it possible for others to take their place and evolve as well.

Qualities of the Rays Each Ray is associated with a color, certain qualities of being, virtues, teachings, modes of expression, chakras, some with a particular etheric retreat, and at least one planet. Each is also associated with various missions and assist beings in their professions and avocations. An unknowable number of Cosmic beings are connected with each Ray. Each Ray has at least one Chohan (usually 2, a Lord and a Lady) and is also guided and influenced by particular Ascended Masters and Archangels.

These beings are said to “run” the ray, meaning they use the colors and qualities of the Ray in performing their sacred duties. So, when one meditates on a Ray, or a particular Master or Angel, one is directly or indirectly working with one or more of the Rays as well.

CLEARING AND ENERGIZING YOUR SPACE Your spiritual aspects respond to the energies that exist within the space around you. You can use various tools to clear away unneeded energy and to call forth the Higher Dimensions of Ascension. Use space, indoors or outdoors, that you feel most comfortable and energized in. The use of physical tools to clear and energize are many. You may use singing bowls; tuning forks; music; feathers, sea shells, gongs, bells, crystals, icons of Ascended Beings, deities, or elementals; incense; candles, or whatever calls to the Divine within You. SETTING INTENTION Your intention creates through your imagination. In healing work, you set the intention simply by stating it boldly in your mind or verbally. An intention must always be stated in positive terms and with gratitude, because gratitude is a state of both giving and receiving energy in the Higher Dimensions. State your intention as if it already exists because in the Oneness it already does! Here are some examples: “Thank you for giving me spiritual wisdom that is in the Highest and Best for all”

How do we access the 12 Rays?

“I willingly receive, in gratitude, the virtue of ______”

There are many ways to access the energies of the 12 Rays, all of which involve going within and connecting to our Highest Selves. The Highest Self, or Soul, is the doorway to the Ascension Process. One must use the infinite power of the imagination, which means stepping out of the linear thought. This involves surrendering traditional logic; sequential thinking; linear time; concerns of the physical, emotional and mental bodies; judgment; analytical thought and the like. When we do this, the right hemisphere is actuated and gains us access to our creative and intuitive power, as well as the subtle energies constantly in motion within us that we typically don’t access during our daily routines.

“I choose to release the energy/emotion of ______ for immediate transmutation into kindness and compassion. I thank All That Is”.

As stated by Sri Ram Kaa and Kira Kaa in their book “2012 Awakening”:

“It is imagination that opens the doorways of perception. Your imagination is a great gift that can free you to manifest miracles your life. Within the safety of your imagination you are able to transport yourself anywhere…

We encourage you to allow yourself the complete and loving reactivation

“I am blessed and honored to access any and all information that will aid me in my earthly mission”.

BREATHING Breathing is the tool to use in all activities of going within. The Holy Breath is what connects us to the All, to the I AM, to our Divine Spark. Knowing that God/dess or Source energy is everywhere, re-member that with every intentional breath you are calling in the Highest Energy we can know as humans.

Breathing abdominally and exhaling completely helps to purify the system and sends the signal to the mind to relax and receive energy. It energizes the system, because every time you intentionally breathe in this way, your Higher Self, or Soul, knows it is time to connect with divinity within.

It is most helpful to state something like:

“I now purify and cleanse with every breath to open and receive all ascension energies to the fullest. I now choose to connect with my Highest Self”.

-Use your own words in the creation of an affirmation like this. The words are not as important as holding this sincere intention with an open heart.

-Breathe this way for at least 5 minutes while seated comfortably but up straight with feet on the floor for grounding. Since the intention is about bringing wisdom and healing to your earthly self, direct connection with Earth is imperative.

-Allow the mind to relax and empty itself. Allow thought to enter and exit to the best of your ability. When you feel that you are connected to your Highest Self, you are ready to move on to other 12 Ray access activities.

You will feel a lightness, a type of “disconnect” from the physical, and may start to feel a sense of peace or joy. Colors or symbols or messages may enter your consciousness. This practice alone is a lovely and healing experience. Or you can, with a smiling heart, move on and try something new!

CHAKRA BALANCING Energizing and balancing the chakras is important so that your etheric energy is flowing at maximum, and this will further serve to ready you for 12 Ray Ascension experiences. Imagine the traditional 7 chakras, or the more advanced 12 or 22 Chakras, as swirling color wheels. Work with the chakras one at a time. Visualize the color of the chakra deepening, swirling, and healing as the vortex expands. If you feel or sense a weakness in a chakra, breathe into that chakra until it feels strong.

You can call in Archangel Metatron to balance your entire system with sacred geometry at this time.

WORKING WITH COLOR Once you become familiar with the color associated with each Ray, and what the color signifies, you can bring any color you want into your being.

This will directly connect you with the color’s ray. In an upcoming segment, the subject of using the colors of the Rays in healing and everyday life will be explored in more detail.

WORKING WITH AN ASCENDED MASTER OR ARCHANGEL

THE QUALITIES In your ascension process, there may be particular qualities that you wish to connect with and develop further. Some of the qualities that aid in Ascension are Power, Good Will, Creativity, Discipline, Spiritual Intuition, Peace, Freedom, and Justice, to name a few. THE RAINBOW TECHNIQUE This Ascension technique involves the intent to invoke all the Rays at once, allowing them to work within you for your Highest and Best purpose. Imagine all the colors of the Rainbow entering your crown chakra, let go of thought, and enjoy! The colors, qualities, Masters, Angels, virtues, Chohans etc. will come in and give you treatments, inspiration, and wisdom. This will assist you on your path. There are infinite possibilities of Good using this technique, so be ready for an experience that will be profound and is sure to shift you in unimaginable ways.
