Local high school students and teachers remembered a teacher lost to cancer and looked to the future during the Robert J. Beeney Memorial Car Show last weekend.

QU students bring pet therapy to seniors

A committee tasked with helping veterans has a new office in Town Hall.
Dozens of seniors interacted with therapy animals including miniature horse Willie on April 30 at LiveWell Connecticut, provided by Quinnipiac University occupational therapy Dave students.
Dozens of senior citizens interacted with therapy animals last week during an event organized by Quinnipiac University occupational therapy students. The crew from Quinnipiac brought a therapy dog and three miniature horses to LiveWell Connecticut, a dementia care facility serving day visitors and more than 100 full-time residents.
