Bjen Butaran Edward Cabading
Bjen Butaran is a student in CIIT doing her best to capture and edit photographs even without much prior experience in the craft. She never would’ve thought that she’d be partaking or even more, enjoying photography, but she has been delightfully proven wrong. Her artistic skills are primarily practiced and focused on digital drawing and video editing, but photography has been a pleasant new experience & hobby. Through more lessons, projects, and practice, she hopes to hone her photography skills even more, till she can fill a scrapbook full of pictures that she has proudly taken all by herself.
I didn’t jump the shark on the photography when I was young because I was more on the videography side than photography, but the latter still is interesting for me to do.

I started slowly getting into it when I was looking at cameras and see which one’s good for me as a beginner. I was so interested in the technical aspects of it and how some of the pictures taken looked.
Fast forward to late 2022 when I did get my first actual camera, I started to play with the features and controls on how it functions because I’ve never truly held/own a camera before. It is still the start of the journey and I am still in the process of learning/telling stories via a single frame. Who knows, maybe this will also help me with videography, it will help me be more creative with shots and have more control with the equipment and the environment around me to go all out with what I have in mind.
