Typology: Information Center Location: Pandav leni, Nashik , Maharashtra Site Area: 3000sq.m.
Inspiration: The farmers in the region of sahyadri and the nature is my inspiration here. Nature covers itself green blanket and grows giant trees to hold the contours hence I applied the same techniques here as it is the foot of the hill.

Concept: Go local and grow local is my
approach to this landscape project. 1m height retaining wall provided at the high contours to hold the soil and covered with creeping fig. Local trees like Neem, Jamun, Mango, Teak, champa having big diameter can control the heavy rainfall soil erosion. Duranta, Tulsi is planted as edge plants which gives pedestrian direction. Rammed soil paths connects the users to the ground and the soil. Amphitheater is provided at the high contours which is convenient to build. Provided a small piece of land for growing vegetable for the cafeteria.
