Inspiration: The Banyan Tree Cafe which is also known as IF-BE is a good example of reuse of century old structure and sustainability. The height of the hall, texture of the exposed wall and northlight trusses inspired me to try them out in my design.
The book ‘Space, Form and Order’ gave me different visuals that how we can create an imposing ambiance with the help of forms and it’s order in the given space.
Concept: Segregated Clusters, clusters of different functioning spaces connected with verandah of entries. Top windows with north-light trusses gives sustainable approach towards providing natural daylight and good ventilation.
