Stately Design & Renovation has completed over 700 remodeling projects to date and as the company has evolved, we have grown from doing bathrooms and kitchens to large scale full house renovations, ground-up additions, and second story add-ons. We have found the most success when we are able to partner with our client walking through the whole project—from design to construction. This ensures that we’re able to collaborate and solve any problems that might arise before we get too far along.

Q: How long have you been in business? I started Stately Design & Renovation in 2007, after years of experience in real estate, home décor, and owning/remodeling rent houses. My team impresses clients with exceptional creativity, professionalism, attention to detail and communication skills. We aim to exceed client expectations and take a team approach. The business has grown from just me to now completing the team are Vice President Darrelyn Poage, Production Manager Justin Lindemulder, Project Coordinator Tori Jacobs, and Project Manager Adam Lowe.

Q: Should I invest in a home remodel or buy a new house? We are seeing home prices remaining high and chances are new interest rates are higher than your current mortgage rates. It is making more sense for people to stay in their homes. However, this is a personal decision, and we advise you to ask yourself a few questions: Do you feel a connection to your community and neighborhood? Maybe your family is close by, or you have lots of friends in the area? It makes economic sense to take advantage of all the things you love about your home and remodel. Even if you plan on selling your home down the road—chances are that not remodeling your space generally attracts lower offers and a lot of sellers feel pressured to make updates before selling to get a better price or attract more buyers. We believe that you should renovate for you! Renovations can be a very rewarding process and we’d love to create a plan to renew your love for the place you call home!

Q: What green options are you installing now? Solar power is the most common and since the laws have change in Texas, HOAs can't prohibit homeowners from installing solar panels on their homes now. Solar shingles are also a new, cleaner look over panels. We're also using SPAN smart electrical panels that when paired with an energy storage system offer whole-home backup with prioritized circuits during power outages, actionable energy insights, and circuit-level control via WiFi using a smartphone app.

Q: What can I expect during renovation? A home remodel is a significant investment in what may be your largest asset. During renovation projects you can expect dust, noise, and strangers in your house. They take a lot of time and there are a lot of moving pieces—definitely have patience during the process! Homeowners quite commonly experience some frustrations during the middle of construction after the excitement of demo day has worn off—and you cannot quite see the finished project just yet. But trust us, it is all worth it when you experience your completed vision!

Q: What should I look for when choosing a remodeling company? Trust between you and the remodeler is a must for a successful relationship Also important is feeling comfortable working with them. Look for someone who will be your partner versus dictating what you should and shouldn’t do. Always ask for references from previous clients and actually contact them. Reviewing photos of past projects is also helpful. Stately Design & Renovation is one of the most trusted premier home remodelers in North Texas. We would be happy to discuss with you further what sets Stately Design apart. Let’s talk!
