SPICED HONEY GOAT CHEESELog

Entertaining season is just around the corner and we will be looking for an easy, delicious appetizer to impress our guests or hostess. This is it! This takes only mere minutes to make and tastes so fancy. It’s creamy, crunchy, sweet and spicy— all at the same time! I’ve rolled a delicious goat cheese log in finely chopped pistachios and finished it with spicy honey. You could just warm some honey and drizzle it on top, but it’s so good with a bit of cayenne. You can spice it to your liking. I originally came up with this because it’s too hot outside to cook dinner—let alone appetizers. And after I tried it, I realized just how perfect this would be as a holiday appetizer. I am definitely making this again at a holiday party!

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE LOG:

8 oz goat cheese

1/4 cup pistachios, finely chopped 1 Tbsp honey

1/8-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

(1) Roll goat cheese in chopped pistachios, thoroughly coating.

(1) In your smallest sauce space, warm a generous tablespoon of honey with cayenne pepper. Whisk until combined and slightly warm, then pour over log. Serve with crackers and enjoy!
