While the Tribute to Valor Foundation’s prime focus is on students engaged in STEAM curriculum, they also look for opportunities to impact and influence students not involved in STEAM. They strive to help them learn about those opportunities, and the indelible and positive impact STEAM can have on the lives of themselves and others. Technologies such as the iBOT mobility system, the Trax Chair and the Exsoskeleton have been vital to enhancing mobility and independence for many disabled men and women, including many of our nation’s veterans.
Essential Heroes Yellow Ribbon Scholarship
The Tribute to Valor Foundation has always honored those who embody the six core values of the Medal of Honor, and who live a life dedicated to the service of others. The recent events surrounding the pandemic brought to the forefront the sacrifice of all healthcare, first responders and essential service workers. The Tribute to Valor Essential Heroes Yellow Ribbon Scholarship is dedicated to the brave men and women that have always served their communities, and put themselves at risk for the benefit of all. The pandemic caused more casualties than combat operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam or Korea. Tribute to Valor Essential Heroes Yellow Ribbon Scholarship helps surviving spouses and children of fallen essential heroes to move forward with education, support with tutoring, vocational training, certification and college opportunities. These scholarships will also be presented to deserving students who are pursuing opportunities in the healthcare and first-responder professions.
C.a.S.E. CHARACTER and STEAM EDUCATION
Students pursuing opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) are filling a critical need for the nation and as future leaders, as they will be entrusted with significant responsibilities and decisions that can have a far reaching impact on society. The Tribute to Valor Foundation C.a.S.E program brings a critical resource, perspective and call to action to help shape and influence in a positive and dynamic way, students pursuing opportunities in STEAM. The result is a very unique and powerful experience that engages and encourages the students to embrace and incorporate the values of character into their lives.

Testimonial
“What an awesome experience for the students and myself! So inspiring to hear their stories. I think this is especially helpful for 6th grade middle school students as I see a few starting to go down the wrong path. It is such a huge transition from elementary school to middle school and the students need all the guidance they can get. My son was super impressed and cannot stop talking about it. My students have been talking about courage, bravery, opportunities and integrity. Warms my heart to hear my 6th graders discussing this with their peers and myself!” – Tara
