AWARDS
President’s Medallist Award - £1,500 (4 available)
The SEB President’s Medals are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit. There are four medals awarded, one each for animal, plant and cell biology, and outreach, education and diversity (OED).
The President’s Medals are the most prestigious award at the SEB and are highly regarded in the scientific community. Recipients receive their medal at the Awards Dinner that will take place on Thursday 10th July 2025 with attendance of 400 guests.

SEEDS CHILDCARE PROVISION SPONSOR
The SEB Annual Conference strives to be a family-friendly event.
We provide an on-site childcare provision to support parents in their attendance and allow them to frequently check in on their children and assist with breastfeeding. Since 2021, we have partnered with Nipperbout to “facilitate inclusivity and safety for families”.
The SEB Conference childcare provision is open for all conference parents for a heavily discounted fee per child per period. The provision is for children aged 0 to 16 years old and can accommodate up to a maximum of 15 children at any one time.

The Grand Awards Dinner takes place on the evening of Day 3, Thursday 10th July 2025 at the Grande Cafe Horta, in Antwerp.
The evening is a celebration of the SEB Annual Conference education and where the prestigious Award presentations take place by the Society’s President, Tracy Lawson.

An opportunity to place an A4 or A5 insert/s into the delegate bags is available. If you are planning to use the SEB logo, all artwork will need to be approved by the SEB before printing.

The SEB Conference 2025 programme book will be distributed to all delegates during the conference. The book will contain all the information required for the conference along with a list of exhibitors, sponsors and exhibition floor plan.
The abstract book will be distributed electronically to all delegates and also available in hard copy if requested. The abstract book will contain all the abstracts from the meeting and will be kept as an information resource.
