John being in his last years of youth, when the chaos finally had settled in, to just in the
nick of time find the concrete pillars tumbling down again. Forgetting himself and what love meant to him, having to climb back up to find it again, beyond the concrete dust. Laughing out of pain and joy on his way out, cracking the idea of what was to be done. A message of love dedicated to the youth, interlined with his own take on it. A collection of poems dedicated to love. The not so straight forward journey of trying
to love yourself, longing to find love, loving the world so much to the point that you hate it. Saying fuck all when it isn´t fair, standing up for what´s right and for what should be done. But also the gentle side, when you finally can be at peace with yourself, spend pleasant times with your partner, laugh with the dear folks around you, knowing things will be alright. To You, With Love is John Mars latest project with
his take on the uncertainty of love. At the age of 19, John was on a road on finding himself and the meaning of love. Mars knew exactly what to make when he first started the project, only to later find out that this wasn´t the case. While creating the collection of photos a new understanding of love was born. It wasn´t crystal clear, but it sure felt right. To You, With Love is a reflection of his own understanding of love, using a carefullly formed collection of both photographic and poetic works.
