We have an amazing, caring community at Skypark and thanks to all that got behind our zipslide fundraiser for Cash for Kids!
In October, Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard presenters Gordon Duncan and Gordon Dalziel, teamed up with Skyparkers raising over £12,500.
As part of the fundraising efforts, 13 year old Zoe Mennie from Glasgow donated her pocket money and Carol McMullen of One-O-One raised over £1500 for Clyde Cash for Kids.
With cash raised locally, Clyde Cash for Kids guarantees that the generous donations made by fund raising will go towards bringing hope, healing and happiness to children in the community. It responds to the needs of children and aspires to enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential.
Gordon Duncan host of Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard team said: “The Skypark zipslide was an amazing experience. Thanks to everyone that supported us. The money raised for Clyde Cash for Kids has a huge, positive impact on the thousands of children the charity supports throughout the year.”
Clyde Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect and those who have additional needs. As a long-standing fundraising partner with Clyde Cash for Kids, Skypark has raised £40,000 over the years for the charity.
