A HUGE THANK YOU TO SKYPARK FROM THE PYRAMID AT ANDERSTON!
From donating chocolate Easter eggs earlier this year so the Knit and Natter group could add their lovingly handmade hats, to wrapping and delivering hundreds of selection boxes in time for the ‘Anderston Loves Christmas’ event in December, Skypark continues to develop strong ties with local community hub The Pyramid.

Anderston Loves Christmas was held in conjunction with the Salvation Army and took place on the 9th December. As well as the opportunity to meet Mr and Mrs Claus, families enjoyed festive food and fun. And colleagues from Leidos (pictured above) got into the festive spirit by lending a hand on the day.
The Pyramid supports the local communities of Anderston, Finnieston, Yorkhill and Kelvingrove with activities, events and help for every age group and the charity are looking for Trustees to join their Board.
It’s an exciting time to get involved as Phase One of a large renovation of their iconic building completes in the New Year with the opening of a new state of the art community sports hall and a commercial size community kitchen.
The aim is to provide more community activities which are accessible to all. From chair yoga, tai chi and dementia cafes, to cultural cinema screenings and weaving workshops.
If you have a passion for the local area and are experienced in governance, business management and planning, accounts or finance please get in touch. Estimated time commitment is around 5-6 hours per month, including participation at Board meetings.
