Hello!

I am glad to submit my portfolio for your consideration.
This portfolio captures several selected projects that reflect my experience over the last four years in the field of architectural studies.

Nowadays, mental illness has become one of the most serious concerns of the cities’ users. Especially the B40 group and migrant workers in KL who suffer from depression due to economic difficulties. Unbound is a mental healing park with free entry to help city users to release their stress and express their anxiety and loneliness through interaction with animals. By petting and cuddling animal, one’s basic human need for touch and contact comfort can be fulfilled. Studies show that interacting with fauna and flora is more mentally healing by having any injection or medicine. Participating in nature-driven activities or any outdoor activities may recharge one’s mental health and avoid loneliness.
Unbound is targeting the office workers and homeless in KL especially the migrants from other states. Besides, the nearby families are also welcomed to the site so that they no need to travel a long distance to the forest for a natural experience. Especially the children in the cities who are rarely able to interact with animals be it companion or non-companion animals.

Frame 01 : Interact with Animals
People in the cities are facing mental issues like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The base layer shows the darkness of the city users. By interacting with animals, their lives become brighter like feeding the strays. Is like an inter-healing process between both humans and strays.
Frame 03 : Living with Animals
The city users are facing economic difficulties. Hence, they have no extra money for social gatherings and entertainment which will cause loneliness. By cuddling and petting animals, one’s basic human need for touch and contact comfort can be fulfilled. The top layer shows the imagination of the coexistence between wildlife and human.

Frame 02 :

Friendly with Animals
There are many existing city issues which I would say are the cracks of the city. For example, city users chase away strays unfriendly. The homeless may affect our society, especially those who have drug abuse. The homeless and the strays can be interdependent and show their friendly for each other.

Frame 04 : Coexist with Animals
Nowadays, hunting had been seriously disrupting the ecological balance which will alternately destroy our living environment like flash floods due to the over-cutting down of trees, and the increasing number of endangered species. By sharing the landscapes with wildlife that lost their home, we can heal the city from overdevelopment as well.

People’s happiness always depends on the balance between economical capability and human desire. Urban people always found less happiness as high technology keeps increasing their desire and they start to compare with each other. This stressful level causes them to yearn for the freedom to gain a little bit of breathing and unwinding. On the other hand, the neighborhood is always found friendly and enthusiastic in rural areas. The rural peoples are always content with what they have and show their share and care among the villagers. The happiness is strongly shown on the Hulu Langat locals’ faces. They satisfy and cherish the life they are having now. They are reluctant to migrate even if they are facing frequent flooding disasters.
WonderWell is a forest kindergarten for both areas interdependent and able to come and go frequently. Having a natural platform for urban kids to find out about the various values of Hulu Langat and its merit to the urban area. Perhaps the flourishing rural area can bring some happiness to them and increase the relationship between both urban and rural children.

Food models (“shokuhin sampuru”), also known as fake foods or food samples are a model or replicas of a food item made from plastic, wax, resin, or similar material. These models are commonly used in restaurant street displays in Japan and Korea to represent the dishes available inside.

Forage Art Gallery is a place to help us explore more culinary delicacies in Kajang along with a preview area. This gallery specializes in food models, the art of previewing food from the menu. Forage, which brings the meaning of searching widely for food, will be a platform to connect all users such as artists, rotating vendors, visitors, and family members.
