DIGITAL FILE REQUIREMENTS:

• On disc formatted for MAC. • Preferably send a high-resolution PDF (PDF/X-1a) respecting the ad size. • Bleed: If your image extends to the edge of the cut line, your page layout needs to extend to cover the standard 1/4” bleed, 1/8” on each side. This “safety area” is required to ensure that no apparent white or unprinted border is left around the edge during the cutting process. You should not place any important text or image in this area. • Text-safe gutter: This is essentially the opposite of a bleed. Because of the slight inherent variation in where the actual cut is made, you should not put text (or anything important) within 1/4” of the desired cut line. • Total ink coverage for pictures should not exceed 280%. For deeper black (rich black), use 60C, 40M, 40Y and 100K. • Additional charges will be invoiced if material is not in accordance with spec requirements such as wrong format, low-resolution images, RGB files, spot PMS color, missing files, missing fonts, etc. The hourly rate is $100. • Cyclepresse is not responsible for any material NOT accompanied by a colour proof. All the rates are net. Requested position, add 10%
