Kristin Nicholas
is a knitwear designer and decorative artist who was named one of Vogue ® Knitting’s Master Knitters of the 1990s. She has designed for Vogue Knitting, Family Circle and other publications and has written several books, including Kristin Knits, Knitting Beautiful Classics and Knitting the New Classics. Kristin is a knitting expert on PBS’s Knit and Crochet Today and has appeared on many other television shows, including The Martha Stewart Show. She has her own line of yarn called Julia from Nashua Handknits. Kristin lives with her family in rural western Massachusetts in a very colorful farmhouse.
