The best place you’ve traveled to? Cape Town, South Africa.
Favorite animal? Realistically, any animal that lets me pet it. “Aspirationally,” a baby sloth.
What’s something you’re proud of? Founding and launching two brands/personal businesses.
Favorite food? Breakfast from South Philly Barbacoa in the Italian Market of Philadelphia (IYKYK).
What’s your favorite movie? Narrowing it down to: The Princess Bride, Amélie, and Titanic.
What are your hobbies? Teaching movement, making class playlists on Spotify, decorating the house, writing, mentoring other movement professionals, and throwing elaborate theme parties for my child
What sort of duties do you have at work? My role is a mix of administrative and creative I am the person who responds to all customer engagement on Day’s’ social channels, I craft branded email campaigns for everything from product or brand launches to special events, to promotions, to general awareness I do a whole lot of brainstorming and research to reach and retain customers, from the nitty gritty level to grand ideas I create, collate content, plan and strategize our content, and when I’m lucky, I get to form connections and deepen partnerships with other local brands, artists and creators, influencers, and more It’s a role with a lot of moving pieces, and tons of opportunities for creativity and collaboration
What’s the most exciting part of your job? Brainstorming, creating, and getting artsy fartsy Photoshoot days are always a thrill
Do you have any mentors in your professional life? I learn so much daily working in the Marketing Dept! From Nikia, strategy, paid advertising, and PR From Brian, honing a keen eye for brand continuity, from Mike, translating artistic impulses into actual design, and from Amelia, implementing new technologies She doesn’t know it, but I also want to be Michelle Connor when I grow up

Do you have any pets? An aged pup named Jolene, and two cats –Kitty Coco and Frida Catlo

What motivates you at work? Creativity, connection, story-telling, and the chance to dig in and be highly analytical I am also very motivated by sparkly things
