The SIFF Buzz takes to the streets this week in search of this season’s HOTTEST celebrities as we stalk the Red Carpet VIP parties and pre-festival screenings. Let’s see who’s who this year.

Tabby Lloyd SIFF is about stars, celebrities, high fashion and all the glitz and glamour that a real-life film festival embodies. Many of us enjoy our Sims roleplay, which is exactly what this issue is all about. We meet some of the hottest SIMs stars and celebrities as they come to town for the one and only Sims International Film Festival. Every SIFF we invite the talents of Sims photographers, or as we like to call them, Simtographers. All are welcome and this is not the last showcase for Red Carpet photography. Photographers, paparazzi, fashion critics and reporters of all kinds are invited to submit photos with a film festival theme right through until the films premiere on September 15th
As much as we would like to take full credit, SIFF doesn’t run itself. Behind the scenes are always a group of dedicated support staff. We have our crew of SIFF staffers (shown below), the A team of Anches - reporter and photographer to the stars, and Ausagi - master of disguise and character consultant. Over at the Simatography website, you can always count on someone to help you out, which is usually Ballantyne or Cloudwalker who lurk there even in the wee hours when the rest of us are slacking.

The talented Smoky Topaz arrives with the hunk of hotness that is Jacob. Its a good thing that Jacob is so incredibly photogenic, otherwise we might be distracted by the joker behind him trying to steal the spotlight.
Poor Minnie - in trying to break into the movie business, she is very unlucky and displays all to the photographers.... perhaps a long dress would have been better?

Long-time SIFF sweetheart, Demeter Moon is not shy about her commitment to family and romance as she brings us the most family-friendly Red Carpet event ever seen. How does she do it? Demeter and husband Dion Cai somehow strike a balance between family life and the demands of the spotlight.
The remaining of the talented beauties that are the band Bada Bing arrive in style right behind their founder and manager Demeter.

What is
and why should you join in?
SIFF started as a machinima showcase and grew into something bigger than we had ever imagined. It is now more than simply a film festival, it is a celebration of the creativity of Simmers of all kinds. Our philosophy at SIFF is not about focusing on the winners. Yes, there are contests, and there is voting by the fans, but this is not our primary goal. SIFF is about participating in a community event and showing off your talents. It is for beginners and experienced artists alike - in fact we avidly support beginners and wish that more would participate. SIFF is a series of challenges, as you will see on the following page. We have challenges and fun for photographers, paparazzi reporters, builders, graphic artists, fashionistas, bands and musicians, sims personalities and machinima makers of course. SIFF is international - we have participants and staff from around the globe. SIFF runs twice a year and has been since 2010 which means that we are now on our 8th season! Over the years we have seen this talented community grow as our simified world has evolved and we hope that more simmers will hear about us and participate in this showcase of YOUR incredible talents so please SPREAD THE WORD! We are here to reveal the truth behind one of the most talked about rumours of this season of SIFF. In the SIFF offices there has been talk of a budding romance between two staff members, Gus Rockman and Christie L, but it is more than that. We have been able to confirm that while Christie appears to be simply posing seductively at this SIFF media event, she was in fact hiding a baby bump. So I suppose congratulations are in order. We are waiting for our wedding invitation.
Originally we were told that in this photo Christie was removing a caterpillar from Gus’s hair, but in fact she was feeling a bit light headed and Gus was holding her up. Maybe this pregnancy is wearing her out already. photos by ChristieL
