MIGRAZIONI Tema più che mai attuale, i popoli e le persone da sempre si spostano in cerca di un “meglio”. Questi spostamenti danno frutto a contaminazioni e mescolanze di culture e geni. Ogni cosa è il prodotto di queste mescolanze. L’umanità è la custode della Mescolanza, una forza inarrestabile a cui costantemente cerca di ribellarsi, ma che inevitabilmente avrà sempre la meglio. In quest’opera la denuncia alle tragiche morti nel mar Mediterraneo. More current than ever, peoples and people have always moved in search of a “better”. Humanity is the keeper of the Mix, an unstoppable force against which it constantly tries to rebel, but which will inevitably always prevail. L’unione del vetro e dell’oro 24K è probabilmente la tecnica più complicata che l’artista impiega. This sculpture represents all of us. We are at times Angels and at times Devils. One is lucky when the good and less cynical side prevails. The union of glass and 24K gold is likely the most complicated technique that the artist employs.
